Position Summary

Software Specialist Engineer II

We are seeking an experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer with 5–8 years of overall experience and strong hands-on AEM expertise to design, build, and support scalable digital experiences. The role requires deep knowledge of AEM authoring/runtime, Sling/OSGi, JCR, component-based development, integrations, and CI/CD. You’ll work closely with product owners, architects, backend teams, and designers to deliver production-grade solutions.

Work you'll do

As a Software Specialist Engineer II on the IT Services team, you will be responsible for:

  • Design, build, and support Adobe Experience Manager solutions across authoring and runtime environments
  • Develop and enhance components, templates, and services using HyperText Markup Language Template Language (HTL), Java, Sling, Open Services Gateway initiative (OSGi), and Java Content Repository (JCR)
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, designers, and engineering teams to translate business and technical requirements into production-ready solutions
  • Troubleshoot application, integration, and platform issues, and support continuous improvement of existing architecture and design
  • Contribute across the software development life cycle, including development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support

Shift Timings: 12 Noon to 9 PM

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology
  • 5-8 years of experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service or Adobe Experience Manager 6 and above
  • Experience developing components and templates using HyperText Markup Language Template Language (HTL)
  • Experience with Java, Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE), Sling, Open Services Gateway initiative (OSGi), Java Content Repository (JCR), and Apache Felix
  • Experience with Representational State Transfer (REST) services, JavaScript, HyperText Markup Language 5 (HTML5), Cascading Style Sheets 3 (CSS3), JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), Extensible Markup Language (XML), Maven, and Git
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit

Preferred:

  • Experience integrating Adobe Experience Manager with third-party services
  • Experience supporting continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines
  • Experience troubleshooting issues in production environments
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments
