As a Consultant, Cyber Engineering on the Cyber Engineering team, you will be responsible for…
- Supporting the design, configuration, implementation, and testing of cybersecurity tools, platforms, and controls
- Analyzing client requirements and translating them into technical security solutions and implementation activities
- Assisting with assessments of security architecture, infrastructure, and applications to identify control gaps and improvement opportunities
- Preparing technical documentation, implementation artifacts, status updates, and client deliverables
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support issue resolution, deployment activities, and ongoing cyber engineering initiatives
The team
Deloitte’s Cyber Engineering team helps organizations design, build, and operate security solutions that protect business operations, technology environments, and sensitive data. The team works across cybersecurity domains to support implementation, modernization, and optimization efforts aligned to client risk priorities. Team members collaborate with practitioners and clients to deliver practical, scalable solutions in complex environments.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or cyber engineering
- 2+ years of experience supporting the implementation, configuration, or administration of security tools or platforms
- Experience documenting technical requirements, implementation steps, and solution designs
- Experience working with security controls across infrastructure, applications, identity, network, or cloud environments
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or Engineering
- Experience with security information and event management, identity and access management, endpoint security, network security, or cloud security technologies
- Experience supporting cybersecurity implementations in enterprise environments
- Experience with scripting, automation, or configuration management tools
- Industry certification such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Ethical Hacker, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent
