Join Deloitte’s Cyber Engineering organization as a Data Scientist, Assistant Manager, Cyber Engineering supporting the US Attack Surface Management team. In this role, you will help transform cyber and operational data into meaningful insights that inform risk-based decisions, improve remediation outcomes, and strengthen visibility across the attack surface. You will work across metrics, reporting, automation, and analytics to support leaders and technical stakeholders with clear, actionable intelligence. Work you'll do
As a Data Scientist, Assistant Manager, Cyber Engineering on the US Attack Surface Management team, you will be responsible for:
- Own and develop the metrics, dashboards, and recurring reporting portfolio for the US Attack Surface Management team, including leadership, operational, stakeholder, and service-level reporting.
- Design and maintain data models, reporting logic, analytical views, scripts, and automation supporting data ingestion, transformation, validation, and recurring analysis.
- Apply statistical analysis, predictive modeling, anomaly detection, clustering, classification, and other data science techniques to identify trends, anomalies, and risk signals across attack surface management data.
- Translate complex cyber and operational data into concise narratives, visualizations, and recommendations that help stakeholders prioritize remediation and measure risk reduction outcomes.
- Partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, business, and data platform teams to improve data quality, resolve reporting issues, and continuously enhance key performance indicators, key risk indicators, data definitions, data lineage, playbooks, and runbooks.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or another quantitative field
- 10+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, data engineering, cybersecurity analytics, application development, or information security
- Experience developing metrics, dashboards, and recurring reporting for cybersecurity, technology, or risk programs
- Experience using Python and SQL for data analysis, automation, and reporting
- Experience building dashboards and visualizations in Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
- Experience supporting data pipelines, extract, transform, load or extract, load, transform processes, application programming interfaces, data ingestion, validation, and data quality controls
- Experience defining and maintaining data definitions, data lineage, metric logic, quality controls, playbooks, and runbooks
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Cybersecurity
- Certification in data analytics, data science, cybersecurity, or cloud technology
- Experience applying predictive modeling, anomaly detection, clustering, or classification techniques
- Experience with cloud services or cloud data platforms
- Experience analyzing vulnerability, asset, exposure, ownership, or remediation data
- Experience supporting executive reporting, audit requests, or urgent cyber response reporting
