Associate, Procurement and Category Management
The Contingent Labor Procurement Associate plays a critical role in delivering strategic initiatives that support Deloitte’s Contingent Labor program. In partnership with internal customers and business unit leaders, this role shapes and executes sourcing strategies that align with business objectives, optimize efficiency, and create long-term value. Success is measured by the ability to negotiate favorable supplier outcomes, manage risk, and improve internal customer satisfaction.
Work you'll do
As an Associate, Procurement and Category Management on the Talent Category Management team, you will be responsible for:
- Serving as a procurement advisor to internal stakeholders by supporting sourcing initiatives, contract management activities, and procurement decisions aligned to business priorities
- Collaborating with client service teams and internal business units to define procurement requirements, support key deliverables, and execute sourcing and contract renewal activities
- Conducting supplier and market analysis to identify sourcing opportunities, evaluate supplier options, and support strategic and financial objectives through data analysis
- Managing sourcing events, including request for information and request for proposal activities, statement of work processes, and contract negotiations with suppliers
- Supporting supplier relationship management, contract compliance monitoring, issue resolution, and procurement process improvement initiatives
The team
Enabling Areas (EA) at the U.S. India offices are the support arm of the organization and comprises several groups including Talent, Technology, Finance, Communications, Field Operations, etc. EA gives every client service business unit access to the best and brightest resources when it comes to support services. More specifically, EA enables the business units to solely focus on satisfying clients and developing new products and services to sustain competitive advantage, while they consolidate and standardize a diverse collection of systems, processes, and functions. The team provides a wide array of services to the U.S and India professionals and is continually evaluating and expanding its portfolio.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- 1-3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, contract negotiation, or statement of work management
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience supporting procurement processes in a corporate environment
- Experience conducting supplier research, sourcing analysis, or spend analysis
- Experience supporting contract lifecycle activities, including contract renewals and supplier compliance tracking
- Experience working with contingent labor, recruitment services, or human resources procurement
- Experience working with procurement systems such as SAP Fieldglass or SAP Ariba
Preferred:
- Experience in a matrixed corporate environment
- Exposure to global or multi-region contingent labor programs
- Experience supporting request for information or request for proposal processes
- Experience managing supplier relationships and resolving supplier performance issues
