As an Operations Manager in Deloitte Consulting’s Solutions Architecture – Finance practice, you will help lead Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) transformation engagements, support business development efforts, and contribute to practice growth. In this role, you will lead complex programs, shape solution strategies, build senior client relationships, and help develop market offerings and team capabilities. This role is suited for a professional with experience across finance process transformation, automation, and operating model design.

Work you'll do

As an Operations Manager on the Solutions Hub BPaaS team, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading complex P2P and O2C transformation programs with accountability for delivery quality, risk management, and client satisfaction
  • Driving proposal and deal support activities across requests for information (RFI), requests for proposal (RFP), sole source submissions, and BOTT responses
  • Defining solution strategies across finance transformation, automation roadmaps, and global business services (GBS)/shared services center (SSC) operating models
  • Building relationships with senior client stakeholders and supporting market-facing activities, including client presentations and thought leadership
  • Developing team capabilities, contributing to practice assets and methodologies, and identifying opportunities to expand existing and new client work

The team

You will be part of the Solutions Hub BPaaS team, a group of specialists focused on P2P and O2C process excellence and digital transformation. This team partners with clients to redesign finance operations, evaluate automation opportunities, and deliver high-impact solutions across industries.

Location: Hyderabad/Chennai

Shift Timings: Various shift timings, including night shifts, as required by business needs; work from office five days per week.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 10-15 years of experience in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and/or Order-to-Cash (O2C) process delivery, consulting, or solutions architecture
  • Experience across end-to-end P2P processes, including strategic sourcing, supplier management, procurement operations, accounts payable, and payment operations
  • Experience across end-to-end O2C processes, including order management, pricing, billing, revenue recognition, credit and collections, deductions, and cash application
  • Experience leading requests for information (RFI), requests for proposal (RFP), sole source submissions, and BOTT proposals from origination through contract close
  • Experience with finance automation platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, HighRadius, Esker, Basware, or Ivalua
  • Experience in global business services (GBS) or shared services transformation, benchmarking, or operating model design
  • Bachelor of Commerce, Master of Business Administration, Chartered Accountant, or equivalent degree from an accredited university

Preferred:

  • ERP or platform certifications, or industry certifications in finance operations
  • Experience developing market offerings, toolkits, or go-to-market strategies for finance transformation
  • Experience with automation capabilities such as artificial intelligence/machine learning, intelligent document processing, or cognitive automation in P2P or O2C
  • Thought leadership contributions such as published articles, speaking engagements, or white papers on finance transformation topics
  • Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions integration, post-merger finance process harmonization, or finance operating model design
