Join Deloitte’s Solutions Architecture – Finance practice as an Operations Assistant Manager, where you will support and lead finance transformation work across Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes. In this role, you will help shape client solutions, contribute to complex pursuits, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, technology-enabled outcomes. The ideal candidate brings experience in finance operations, solutioning, and client-facing delivery within a consulting or transformation environment.

Work you'll do

As an Operations Assistant Manager on the Solutions Architect Finance team, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and supporting Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) transformation engagements, including solution design, delivery coordination, and stakeholder management
  • Supporting proposal development for request for information (RFI), request for proposal (RFP), sole source, and BOTT submissions using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Designing finance solutions across process, technology, and operating model dimensions, including automation opportunities and platform considerations
  • Facilitating client workshops, solution walkthroughs, and leadership presentations to align stakeholders on recommendations and next steps
  • Managing workstreams, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to practice development and go-to-market initiatives

The team

You will be part of the Solutions Hub BPaaS team; Solutions Architect Finance team, a group of specialists focused on P2P and O2C process excellence and digital transformation. This team partners with clients to redesign finance operations, evaluate automation opportunities, and deliver high-impact solutions across industries.

Location: Hyderabad/Chennai

Shift Timings: Various shift timings, including night shifts, as required by business needs; work from office five days per week.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 7-10 years of experience in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and/or Order-to-Cash (O2C) process delivery, consulting, or solutions architecture
  • Experience across P2P processes, including strategic sourcing, contract management, procurement operations, accounts payable automation, and supplier performance management
  • Experience across O2C processes, including order management, pricing and billing, credit and collections, deductions management, and cash application
  • Experience leading or supporting request for information (RFI), request for proposal (RFP), sole source, and BOTT proposals through submission using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with finance automation or enterprise platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, HighRadius, Esker, Basware, or Ivalua
  • Experience leading client workshops, solution walkthroughs, stakeholder presentations, and delivery teams
  • Bachelor of Commerce, Master of Business Administration, Chartered Accountant qualification, or equivalent degree from an accredited university

Preferred:

  • Advanced certification in SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Cloud, Coupa, or another enterprise resource planning platform
  • Experience with global business services or shared services transformation and operating model design
  • Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotic process automation, or intelligent document processing in P2P/O2C programs
  • Experience contributing to go-to-market offerings, thought leadership, or market-facing assets
  • Experience supporting organizational change management in finance transformation programs
