Position Summary

Join Deloitte’s Enterprise Performance practice as a Consultant, SAP PLM, where you will support digital transformation initiatives across product lifecycle management environments. In this role, you will contribute to the design, customization, deployment, and support of SAP PLM solutions for complex client needs. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate functional requirements into technical solutions, deliver quality work products within project timelines, and support implementation activities across the solution lifecycle.

Work you'll do

As a Consultant, SAP PLM on the Enterprise Performance team, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting SAP PLM implementations across bill of materials, change control, document management, material management, and quality processes
  • Developing functional and technical design specifications aligned to business and project requirements
  • Configuring SAP PLM and SAP Engineering Control Center (ECTR) solutions, including integration with CAD platforms such as SolidWorks
  • Supporting data migration, forms, workflows, and technical development activities across the SAP PLM landscape
  • Collaborating with cross-functional product development and delivery teams to help execute project milestones and client requirements

The Enterprise Performance team leverages deep industry knowledge, strong analytical skills, and practical approaches to address clients’ toughest business challenges. Our professionals as part of the Supply Chain Network Operations (SCNO) service line within Enterprise Performance focus on helping organizations achieve sustainable competitive advantage throughout their operations, spanning product development, planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution. We excel at translating strategic objectives into tangible, measurable outcomes at the operational level. By aligning high-level goals with frontline execution, we ensure our clients realize real value and improved performance across every stage of their supply chain and operations.

Location: Bengaluru / Hyderabad / Pune / Chennai

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM IST or 2 PM to 11 PM IST, as per business requirements

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3-6 years of experience in SAP PLM implementation or support
  • Experience with bill of materials management, change control, document management, material management, quality management, specification management, and program or project management processes
  • Experience developing functional and technical design specifications with traceability to project requirements
  • Experience configuring SAP ECTR for integration between SolidWorks CAD and SAP
  • Experience configuring SAP PLM objects and supporting data migration using SAP EHS OCC Tool and Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW)
  • Experience with SAP Document Management System, Engineering Change Management, Classification, Material Management, Variant Configuration, and SAP Environment, Health, and Safety
  • Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, Master of Computer Applications, Master of Technology, or equivalent degree from an accredited university

Preferred:

  • Experience in SAP PLM within semiconductor, consumer care, life sciences, or pharmaceutical environments
  • Experience configuring or customizing PLM solutions in development and quality assurance environments
  • Experience integrating PLM solutions with external systems such as SolidWorks CAD and SAP
  • Experience developing test plans, test cases, and supporting functional testing or user acceptance testing
  • Experience with SAP ABAP development, including reports, forms, enhancements, workflows, and file interfaces
  • Experience in 4 or more full-cycle PLM implementations
