MES Opcenter Discrete – Senior Consultant, Technical Transformation
As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting Services, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.
Work you'll do
As a Senior Consultant, MES Opcenter Transformation on the Enterprise Performance team, you will be responsible for:
- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Siemens Opcenter Discrete solutions for manufacturing clients.
- Translate business and functional requirements into manufacturing execution system solution designs, integrations, and technical deliverables.
- Conduct requirements workshops, support solution prototyping, and validate configurations with business and technology stakeholders.
- Develop and support integrations across manufacturing execution systems, enterprise resource planning platforms, automation systems, and web services.
- Support project planning, estimation, testing, training, deployment, and post-implementation activities across the delivery lifecycle.

Our professionals as part of the Supply Chain Network Operations (SCNO) service line within Enterprise Performance focus on helping organizations achieve sustainable competitive advantage throughout their operations, spanning product development, planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution. We excel at translating strategic objectives into tangible, measurable outcomes at the operational level. By aligning high-level goals with frontline execution, we ensure our clients realize real value and improved performance across every stage of their supply chain and operations.
Location: Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM IST, as per business requirements
Qualifications: B.Tech/ M.Tech/ MBA
Required:
- 6-10 years of experience implementing manufacturing execution system solutions in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter Discrete and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) Connect, including configuration and customization.
- Experience designing manufacturing execution system solutions using ISA-95 and ISA-88 standards.
- Experience with Good Practice (GxP), Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GAMP), and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
- Experience integrating manufacturing execution systems with SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, Level 2 automation systems, RESTful APIs, and web services.
- Experience with Java, C# .NET, Oracle, and Structured Query Language (SQL) database technologies.
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Technology (M.Tech), or equivalent.
Preferred:
- Experience with Siemens DIS, Insights Hub, Opcenter Intelligence, or advanced planning and scheduling (APS) solutions.
- Experience with Mendix.
- Experience leading requirements workshops, data model reviews, and configuration validation sessions.
- Experience designing, prototyping, testing, training, and supporting manufacturing execution system implementations.
- Experience integrating manufacturing execution systems with control systems, product lifecycle management (PLM), laboratory information management systems (LIMS), or advanced planning and scheduling (APS) platforms.
- Knowledge of Level 3 and Level 4 systems, bill of materials (BOM), manufacturing bill of materials (MBOM), and bill of process (BOP).
