Position Summary

Level: Senior Consultant or equivalent 

As an experienced Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting Services, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.

Work you’ll do:

Seeking a professional with 6–10 years of experience in SAP Production Planning (PP/PP-PI), with strong cross-functional integration across MM, QM, Product Costing (CO), and PM. Expertise in PP master data (material master MRP/work scheduling views, BOM, work centers, routings, production versions), SOP (standard/flexible planning, planning table maintenance), demand management (MTS to MTO), MPS/MRP, capacity evaluation/leveling, and production order lifecycle (create/execute/close). PP-PI skills include resources/recipes and process management (instructions/messages, control recipes). Repetitive manufacturing, Kanban, LTP, and APO are a plus.

Qualifications:

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

  • 6+ years of industry experience
  • Cross Functional and Integration Knowledge with Production Planning, Materials Management, Quality Management, Product costing and Plant Maintenance modules.
  • Production Planning Master Data (Material Master Data MRP views and Work scheduling, Bill of Material, Work center, Routing, Production Version)
  • Sales and Operations Planning (Standard SOP and Flexible Planning, Maintenance of Planning table)
  • Demand Management (Different Strategies ranging from Make-to-stock to Make-to-Order)
  • Master Production Scheduling and Material Requirement Planning (MPS/MRP
  • Capacity Evaluation and Leveling
  • Production Order creation, Execution and closing
  • PP-PI Master Data such as Resource and Recipes, Process Management (Process Instructions, Process Messages, Control recipes, Process Instruction sheet)
  • Experience in Repetitive Manufacturing, Kanban and Long term Planning and Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) will be an added advantage.
