Oracle Finance – Senior Consultant, Functional Transformation

Our Enterprise Performance team helps organizations modernize finance operations through platform-enabled transformation, functional insight, and large-scale digital delivery. As an Oracle Finance Functional Transformation Senior Consultant, you will work with clients to assess, design, and improve core finance processes, support Oracle-enabled transformation programs, and help enhance visibility, efficiency, and control across the finance function. By combining strategy, process design, and technology enablement, our teams help organizations drive operational improvement and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Level: Senior Consultant or equivalent

As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting Services, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.

Work you'll do

As a Senior Consultant, Functional Transformation on the Enterprise Performance team, you will be responsible for supporting Oracle Cloud Finance transformation engagements that help clients improve finance operations, standardize processes, and enable large-scale digital transformation.

  • Lead functional activities across Oracle Cloud Finance implementations, including requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, and testing.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to assess current-state finance processes and define future-state processes across Record to Report, Procure to Pay, and Order to Cash.
  • Support workshops, design reviews, and issue resolution activities to help deliver work products across implementation and stabilization phases.
  • Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams to manage deliverables, track dependencies, and support timely execution of project plans.
  • Mentor junior team members, review work products, and contribute to engagement planning, status reporting, and client communication.

Location: Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune/Chennai

Shift Timings: 24*7 rotational shifts including night shifts as per business requirements

Qualifications

Required:

  • 6-10 years of experience supporting Oracle Financials modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Cash Management.
  • Experience supporting at least one full-cycle Oracle Financials implementation.
  • Experience in business requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, functional design, configuration, and testing.
  • Experience collaborating with client stakeholders on finance process enhancement initiatives.
  • Experience across end-to-end finance processes, including Order to Cash and Procure to Pay.
  • Experience working in onsite-offshore delivery models.
  • BE, B.Tech, M.C.A., M.Sc. (Computer Science), or equivalent degree from an accredited university.

Preferred:

  • Experience leading an Oracle applications workstream.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Projects modules.
