Position Summary:

Role: Cloud Native Architect

Experienced Cloud Native Architect to lead the design and implementation of cloud-native, microservices-based applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role will help modernize legacy web technologies into scalable cloud-native solutions and define architecture across application, data, and integration layers. The Cloud Native Architect will drive technical direction, establish architecture patterns, review engineering outcomes, and collaborate with product, engineering, and cloud teams to deliver secure, performant solutions.

Work you'll do

· Define end-to-end architecture across microservices, application programming interfaces (APIs), front-end, data, and cloud infrastructure layers.

· Lead engineering teams in building secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, AWS, and observability practices.

· Design RESTful services, JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) contracts, and microservices patterns, including versioning, resiliency, and integration approaches.

· Define standardized approaches for GenAI-enabled application modernization across front-end and back-end application layers, including token usage optimization.

· Collaborate with product, security, operations, and release stakeholders to evaluate trade-offs, manage technical risk, and align architecture decisions to delivery goals.

Engineering as a Service provides complete design, implementation, and technology operations, leveraging our core engineering expertise. We transform engineering teams, modernize technology, and deliver complex programs with a product engineering approach. Our flexible delivery models—traditional teams, pools, or pods—are tailored to each client’s needs, offering engineering-led advisory, implementation, and operational capabilities to accelerate innovation.

Location: Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM and 2 PM to 11 PM

Qualifications

Required:

· 14+ years of software development experience.

· 5+ years of experience in an application architect or solution architect role.

· Experience designing cloud-native applications using Java SpringBoot, Angular, and Amazon Web Services.

· Experience designing RESTful application programming interfaces, JSON-based integrations, and microservices architectures.

· Experience with PostgreSQL design, performance tuning, migrations, and high availability or disaster recovery strategies.

· Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines, containerization, and cloud deployment practices.

· Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Splunk, Langfuse, OpenTelemetry, or Amazon CloudWatch

· Experience with identity, access, and security platforms such as Azure Active Directory, Okta, or Apigee

· Experience with GenAI enabled application modernization with token usage optimization.

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred:

· Experience with event-driven architecture technologies, including Kafka, Amazon Simple Notification Service, Amazon Simple Queue Service, or Amazon EventBridge.

· Experience with infrastructure as code tools, including Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

· Experience with contract testing, integration testing, and automated test strategies.

· Experience with load testing tools and capacity planning.

· AWS Solutions Architect certification.
