Level: Integration Engineer II

Deloitte Consulting is seeking an experienced Integration Engineer II to design, build, and support enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. In this role, you will translate business and technical requirements into scalable APIs and integration services across the full software development lifecycle. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes, contribute to Agile delivery, and support continuous improvement through automation and engineering best practices.

Work you'll do

As an Integration Engineer II on the Engineering as a Service team, you will be responsible for:

  • Gather, analyze, and translate business and technical requirements into integration solutions aligned to industry and client needs.
  • Design, develop, deploy, and support APIs and integration services using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, DataWeave, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery teams across the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and defect resolution.
  • Participate in Agile delivery activities, including sprint planning, retrospectives, estimation, and peer reviews to support quality and timely delivery.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing, process improvements, automation initiatives, and engineering best practices that enhance project outcomes and client value.

Engineering as a Service provides complete design, implementation, and technology operations, leveraging our core engineering expertise. We transform engineering teams, modernize technology, and deliver complex programs with a product engineering approach. Our flexible delivery models—traditional teams, pools, or pods—are tailored to each client’s needs, offering engineering-led advisory, implementation, and operational capabilities to accelerate innovation.

Location: Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM IST, as per business requirements

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3-6 years of hands-on experience in Anypoint Platform API development and management
  • Experience with Anypoint Platform, DataWeave transformation, enterprise integration patterns, and enterprise service bus (ESB) concepts
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting REST, SOAP, and RAML-based APIs and integrations
  • Experience with API security, including OAuth and JSON Web Token (JWT), API lifecycle management, and API governance
  • Experience configuring Anypoint connectors and components and working with messaging technologies, including AMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka, and Java Message Service (JMS)
  • Experience integrating with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, Workday, or Oracle, and using exception handling, logging frameworks, MUnit, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, Master of Computer Applications, Master of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent degree from an accredited university, and Salesforce Certified MuleSoft Developer certification

Preferred:

  • Experience building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines for integration projects
  • Experience using monitoring tools to support system health and issue resolution
  • Experience designing and deploying robotic process automation (RPA) solutions
  • Experience with MuleSoft Composer for low-code integration development
  • Experience developing and executing Apache JMeter scripts for load and performance testing
  • Experience managing TLS certificates, Java KeyStores, and secrets management tools for secure integrations
