Job Title: Consultant (Planon)

Department: Infrastructure & Real Estate

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Planon Developer to design, configure, and maintain solutions on the Planon platform, supporting our organization's Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS). The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Planon's application configuration, integration development, and reporting tools, combined with a solid understanding of facilities management, real estate, or maintenance operations processes.

Key Responsibilities

•      Design, develop, configure, and maintain Planon applications, forms, workflows, and business rules to meet business requirements

•      Develop custom reports, dashboards, and data views using Planon's reporting tools

•      Perform system configuration including field definitions, action buttons, layouts, personalizations, and free fields

•      Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues within the Planon environment

•      Build and maintain integrations between Planon and third-party systems (ERP, HR, IoT/BMS, ticketing systems) using Planon Connect, APIs, or web services

•      Support Planon upgrades, patches, and version migrations, including regression testing

•      Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions

•      Write and maintain technical documentation, including configuration specs and integration designs

•      Perform data migration, data cleansing, and data quality checks within Planon

•      Provide Tier 2/3 support for Planon-related incidents and change requests

•      Ensure compliance with data security, access control, and governance standards within the platform

Required Qualifications

•      Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

•      3–5+ years of hands-on experience configuring and developing on the Planon platform (Planon Accelerator, Planon Universe, or Planon ProCenter)

•      Strong understanding of Planon modules such as Real Estate Management, Space Management, Maintenance Management, Asset Management, Service Management, or Sustainability

•      Experience with Planon Connect / Planon Web Services / REST APIs for system integrations

•      Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts

•      Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, XML) for customizations

•      Experience with Planon's reporting engine (e.g., Field Definer, Report Manager, BIRT, or similar)

•      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

•      Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

•      Planon certification(s) (e.g., Planon Certified Application Consultant/Developer)

•      Experience with IWMS/CAFM platforms beyond Planon (e.g., Archibus, IBM TRIRIGA, ServiceNow FM) is a plus

•      Experience with Agile/Scrum project delivery methodologies

•      Knowledge of ITIL practices for incident and change management

•      Background in facilities management, corporate real estate, or maintenance operations
