We’re seeking an experienced AI and Data Science Engineer III to design, build, and deploy enterprise-scale machine learning solutions that help drive business outcomes. In this role, you will work across the full solution lifecycle—from model development and pipeline design to production deployment and performance monitoring. You will collaborate with cross-functional global teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions while helping maintain high standards for quality, reliability, and delivery. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to advanced AI and machine learning initiatives in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
Work you'll do
As an AI and Data Science Engineer III on the IDT team, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and deploying scalable machine learning solutions for enterprise use cases
- Building and optimizing data ingestion, preparation, and processing workflows using large-scale data tools
- Developing and deploying application programming interfaces for machine learning model serving in production environments
- Managing machine learning lifecycle activities, including experiment tracking, reproducibility, deployment, and monitoring
- Guiding technical delivery through code reviews, mentoring, and collaboration with stakeholders to align solutions to business objectives

Qualifications
Required:
- 5–8 years of experience developing and deploying machine learning solutions
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or another quantitative field
- Experience using Python for data preparation, feature engineering, and machine learning model development
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
- Experience processing large or distributed datasets using PySpark, Dask, or similar tools
- Experience with MLflow for experiment tracking, model management, and lifecycle management
- Experience building and deploying machine learning pipelines, model-serving APIs, and cloud-based machine learning solutions using platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform
Preferred:
- PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or another quantitative field
- Experience with Databricks
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau, or Power BI
- Experience with model evaluation, interpretability, responsible artificial intelligence, and machine learning operations practices
- Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring junior team members
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or Amazon CodeWhisperer
