Position Summary

Finance Transformation

Join our Finance Transformation practice to help Deloitte client service teams define and execute Finance and Global Business Services agendas and strategies. You will work with world-class teams and insights, helping support delivery in challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to help unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we collaborate with teams to enable transforming finance.

Level: Hyperion P&E Consultant

As a Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of Oracle EPM solutions. You will also be mentoring and/or directing junior team members and liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand functional requirements.

Work you'll do

As a Consultant, Functional Transformation on the Finance Transformation team, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the design and development of Oracle Hyperion Planning, Essbase, PBCS, EPBCS, and PCMCS applications
  • Designing and developing core solution components, including integrations, calculation scripts, business rules, dashboards, forms, and reports
  • Monitoring technical deliverables, troubleshooting application issues, performing root cause analysis, and escalating risks affecting project timelines
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders, onsite/offshore teams, and technical resources to translate requirements into scalable Oracle EPM solutions
  • Supporting knowledge sharing and capability building for junior team members across technical and functional workstreams

Our team partners with organizations to drive profitable growth, manage costs strategically, and navigate financial risks. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills and business acumen to join us in delivering innovative solutions and supporting clients in their transformation journey.

Location: Bengaluru / Hyderabad / Pune / Chennai

Qualifications

Required:

  • CA, B.E., or B.Tech degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent
  • 4+ years of experience implementing Oracle Planning solutions
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle EPBCS or PCMCS
  • Experience configuring EPBCS out-of-the-box modules and custom and reporting cubes
  • Experience developing business rules, forms, dashboards, data integrations, metadata management, and MDX calculations
  • Experience administering user provisioning and security setup in Shared Services
  • Experience delivering Oracle EPM suite implementation projects

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • Experience with prototyping, solution enhancement, and performance optimization
  • Experience using EPM Automate, batch or shell operations, and Groovy scripting
  • Exposure to Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS), Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management Cloud Service (EPRCS), or third-party reporting tools
