Position Summary

Finance Transformation

We are seeking an experienced Financial Analytics - AI/ML, Data Modelling and Reporting practitioner with 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise financial data models. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, data warehousing, and advanced data modelling techniques, supporting business intelligence, analytics, and application development initiatives across the enterprise Finance function.

Work you'll do

As an Analytics and Insights Engineer II on the Finance Analytics team, you will be responsible for:

  • Translating business and finance requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise systems.
  • Collaborating with finance stakeholders, data architects, and technical teams to design scalable data solutions for analytics and reporting.
  • Reviewing and optimizing finance data structures, database designs, and data models to improve performance, scalability, and data integrity.
  • Supporting data quality, data governance, metadata, and lineage activities across finance data assets.
  • Partnering with ETL developers and database teams to implement, test, and maintain data models across enterprise platforms.

Finance Analytics helps organizations strengthen decision-making through data, analytics, and modern data platforms. The team supports finance transformation initiatives by developing scalable data models, reporting solutions, and AI/ML-enabled capabilities across the finance function. Team members work closely with business, data, and technology stakeholders to deliver practical solutions aligned to enterprise needs.

Location: Bengaluru / Hyderabad / Pune / Chennai

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in finance analytics, finance transformation, or data modelling within consulting or industry environments.
  • 5+ years of experience designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models for large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Experience supporting finance processes such as financial planning and analysis, forecasting, reporting, tax, controllership, or treasury.
  • Experience with data modelling tools such as erwin, Microsoft Visio, or PowerDesigner Data Architect.
  • Experience with relational, dimensional, and NoSQL data modelling techniques.
  • Experience with SQL and relational database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.

Preferred:

  • Experience with data warehousing concepts, star schemas, snowflake schemas, and OLAP or OLTP systems.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms such as Amazon Web Services Redshift, Microsoft Azure Synapse, Google Cloud Platform, Databricks, or Snowflake.
  • Experience with analytics and business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience with Slowly Changing Dimension Type 1, Type 2, and Type 3 strategies.
  • Experience with data governance, data cataloging, or metadata management tools.
  • Certification in AI/ML, analytics, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Data Analytics, CDMP, or DAMA.
