Position Summary

Level: Managed Services Engineer III or equivalent

As an experienced Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.

Work you’ll do:

· Lead the frontend development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.

· Develop frontend components and user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and React.js

· Design and implement backend services and APIs using server-side languages and frameworks such as Java, Spring etc.

· Familiarity with RESTful APIs and experience in integrating frontend to backend services.

· Manage database systems (SQL and/or NoSQL) and ensure data integrity, security, and performance.

· Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design mockups into responsive and user-friendly interfaces.

· Work closely with DevOps engineers to deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) using containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.

· Strong in Spring Boot Microservices concepts, architecture and Design Patterns.

· Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices and coding standards.

· Strong understanding of web security principles and best practices.

· Staying Updated: Stay updated on emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

6-9 years of relevant experience.
HTML/CSS: Proficiency in writing semantic HTML and styling with CSS, including preprocessors like Sass or Less.
JavaScript (ES6+): Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, including ES6 features, DOM manipulation, and asynchronous programming.
React.js: Component-based library for building user interfaces.
State Management: Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux (for React)
Responsive Design: Ability to create responsive layouts using frameworks like Bootstrap or through custom media queries.
CSS Frameworks: Familiarity with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap, Materialize CSS, or Foundation.
Server-side Languages and Frameworks: Java: Enterprise-level language with frameworks like Spring or Hibernate.
API Design and Development: Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and understanding of GraphQL is a plus.
SQL: Proficiency in relational databases like Oracle MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
NoSQL: Familiarity with non-relational databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
ORM (Object-Relational Mapping): Experience with ORM libraries like Hibernate (for Java).
Authentication and Authorization: Knowledge of authentication mechanisms such as JWT (JSON Web Tokens), OAuth, and OAuth2.
Version Control: Proficiency in Git for managing codebase and collaboration with team members.
DevOps and CI/CD: Docker: A platform for developing, shipping, and running applications in containers, useful for creating consistent development and deployment environments.
Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitHub Actions can automate testing, building, and deploying React applications.
Cloud Platforms: Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Testing and Debugging: Unit Testing: Proficiency in writing unit tests using frameworks like Jest (for JavaScript/React), JUnit (for Java), etc.
Debugging Tools: Familiarity with debugging tools such as Chrome DevTools, Postman, or Swagger for API testing.
Security Best Practices: Understanding of web security best practices, including HTTPS, CORS, CSRF protection, etc.
Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile development environments, including Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
Documentation: Ability to document code and projects effectively for knowledge sharing and future maintenance.

· Node.js: Runtime environment for executing JavaScript server-side.
· GraphQL: A query language for APIs and runtime for executing those queries. It can be used with React to fetch data more efficiently.
