Position Summary
Level: Consultant-Strategy, growth and transformation
As an experienced Consultant, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you’ll do:
- Collaborate with clients in the life sciences industry to understand their business challenges, objectives, and strategic goals.
- Utilize data-driven approaches to conduct robust analyses, such as customer segmentation and revenue leakage analysis, to identify and prioritize opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Conduct comprehensive market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to inform customer journey design, identify pain points, and recommend ideal future-state customer engagement strategies.
- Develop future-state operating models, change management plans, and implementation roadmaps for effective execution of the recommended strategies.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies. Provide ongoing monitoring and reporting to track progress and impact.
- Lead and manage project teams to deliver high-quality consulting services within specified timelines. Ensure effective communication and coordination among team members and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in customer and commercial strategy within the life sciences sector. Contribute to the development of thought leadership content and participate in industry forums and events.

Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- Deloitte is seeking an experienced practitioner with deep expertise in customer and/or commercial strategy, derived from strong industry or consulting experience.
- Professional Experience: Strategy consulting experience from consulting firms, Big 4 firms, or experience in Commercial Strategy/Operations for US-based Biopharma or MedTech firms, or their captives in India.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the commercial value chain for predominantly US Life Sciences companies (Pharma and/or Medtech)
- Data Expertise: Familiarity and experience working with Life Sciences datasets like IQVIA LAAD, Komodo Claims, and other data repositories like Evaluate Pharma and DRG can be valuable
- Core Consulting Skills: Ability to manage the pace and delivery of projects, including coordination with key stakeholders, reporting key findings, and contributing to the broader business unit through business development, knowledge sharing, and other activities.
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- Exposure to working in non-India Geographies (preferably the US) and/or interacting with global stakeholders
Education:
- MBA from a premier school in India or abroad
· 1 - 3 years’ post MBA relevant work experience for Consultants
