As a Senior Manager at Deloitte Consulting, you will play the role of for managing large complex managed services engagements that includes the A-Z of delivering support engagements, including but not limited to, quality management, risk mitigation, disruptive innovations, service excellence, project onboarding, day-to-day operations, incident and change management, meeting contractual SLAs, and continuous operational improvement. A process driven mindset focused on client satisfaction and continuous optimization. You will lead and guide multidisciplinary, global teams and serve as a senior mentor to managers and junior staff. You will partner closely with clients and internal stakeholders to align solution strategies with business goals, contribute to sales and proposal development, and ensure rigorous management of end-to-end project delivery, including scoping, estimation, and executive reporting for successful project outcomes.
Work you'll do
As a Senior Manager/AVP on the Engineering as a Service team, you will be responsible for leading complex managed services engagements and driving delivery outcomes aligned to client and business objectives.
- Lead end-to-end managed services delivery across onboarding, steady-state operations, incident management, problem management, change management, and continuous improvement.
- Manage multidisciplinary and multi-vendor teams to deliver against contractual service-level agreements, quality standards, budgets, and timelines.
- Partner with client and internal stakeholders to define delivery strategy, govern risks and issues, and provide executive-level status reporting.
- Oversee delivery processes across Agile or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), release management, quality engineering, and compliance with software development life cycle controls.
- Support business development by contributing to proposals, solutioning, estimations, and transition planning for new managed services opportunities.

Qualifications
Required:
- 18+ years of software engineering experience, including delivery leadership for large-scale managed services engagements.
- Experience leading multi-team, multi-vendor managed services engagements with ownership of scope, planning, RAID, budgets, and executive stakeholder management.
- Experience with ITIL service management processes across incident, problem, change, and service operations.
- Experience with Java and at least one cloud platform: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience implementing Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) use cases in support operations, including preventive or predictive maintenance, with governance and measurable outcomes.
- Experience leading delivery using Agile or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), quality engineering, release management, change management, and risk or compliance controls.
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Science in Computer Science, Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), Master of Technology (M.Tech), or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
Preferred:
- ITIL certification.
- Experience in sector or subsector business use cases applicable to managed services environments.
- Experience mentoring senior teams and driving technical excellence across large-scale programs.
