Level: Data Management Engineer II
As an experienced Data Management Engineer II at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you'll do
As a Data Management Engineer II on the AI & Data team, you will be responsible for:
- Gather and analyze business and technical requirements for data management and data quality solutions aligned to client and sector needs.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) solutions, including Cloud Data Quality (CDQ), Cloud Data Integration (CDI), and Cloud Application Integration (CAI).
- Configure and maintain data quality processes including profiling, cleansing, parsing, standardization, verification, matching, and duplicate record management.
- Participate in Agile delivery activities including sprint planning, estimation, retrospectives, peer reviews, and defect resolution to support high-quality project execution.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, process improvement, and automation initiatives that enhance delivery efficiency and business outcomes.

AI & Data professionals will work with our clients to:
- Design and modernize large-scale data and analytics platforms including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud, edge and AI/ML technologies, platforms and methodologies for storage, processing
- Leverage automation, cognitive and AI based solutions to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions
- Drive operational efficiency by managing and upgrading their data ecosystems and application platforms, utilizing analytics expertise and providing As-a-Service models to ensure continuous insights and enhancements.
Location: Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune/Chennai
Qualifications
Required:
- 3-6 years of experience in design and implementation of data management solutions using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) Cloud Data Quality (CDQ)
- Experience with IDMC Cloud Data Integration (CDI), Cloud Application Integration (CAI), and CDQ
- Experience developing data quality solutions for data profiling, cleansing, parsing, standardization, verification, matching, and duplicate record merging
- Experience using Informatica Cloud for agent configuration, task automation, task flow deployment, data quality rules, scorecards, dashboards, and reporting
- Experience with extract, transform, load (ETL) processes, Structured Query Language (SQL), database management systems, GitHub, DevOps, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools
- Experience working with high-level design (HLD), low-level design (LLD), and data governance frameworks
- Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, Master of Computer Applications, Master of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
Preferred:
- Experience with address validation and cleansing tools such as AddressDoctor or Trillium
- Experience participating in unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing
- Experience participating in client meetings and onsite-offshore delivery models
- Knowledge of data quality trends and tools in the market
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data services
- Experience automating data quality tasks to improve delivery efficiency
