HR Services Administration – Lifecycles Senior Analyst (Maternity, Adoption, Parental and Shared Parental Leaves & Bereavement)
Role Summary
Join our team of HR professionals in USI (Deloitte US-India) supporting the UK HR Services Administration function. This role enables a smooth, employee-centric experience for sensitive lifecycle events—primarily maternity, adoption, and bereavement—ensuring cases are processed accurately, on time (including payroll cut-offs), and in line with policy, service levels, and data protection requirements. The work is not limited to transactions; it may also includes direct employee support via calls and chats to guide employees through their situations.
Work you’ll do
As part of the Lifecycles team, you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery across employee lifecycle casework, with a focus on family-related and compassionate events.
Core responsibilities
· Manage end-to-end lifecycle processes including (but not limited to):
o Maternity: notifications, documentation validation, leave set-up/updates, pay-impact coordination, return-to-work changes
o Adoption: eligibility/document checks, leave and pay set-up, return-to-work processing
o Bereavement: compassionate leave processing, supportive guidance, documentation handling where applicable
o Parental and shared parental leaves: Validate and process parental and shared parental leave requests in accordance with the regulations and the company policy
o Related lifecycle activity support (as required): leave of absence (LOA), parental leave variants, and other lifecycle changes.
· Employee support beyond processing: provide end-to-end assistance through
calls, chats, and email, helping employees understand next steps, required documents, timelines, and what to expect.
· Empathetic, customer-focused service: handle sensitive conversations with discretion, patience, and compassion while maintaining policy accuracy and confidentiality.
· Mailbox and case management: triage, prioritize, allocate, track, and close cases with complete and accurate audit trails.
· System transactions and data integrity: complete SAP (HR system) updates
accurately and within deadlines, ensuring alignment to procedural guidelines and payroll timelines.
· Service delivery management: meet service level agreements (SLAs) and
support delivery against key performance indicators (KPIs) by monitoring volumes, flagging risks, and escalating potential breaches. Prioritize requests such that the payroll deadline is met.
· Quality checks and peer review: perform daily transaction checks/quality audits; share findings, trends, and corrective actions with the team lead/assistant manager.
· Escalation handling: act as a point of contact for complex cases from analysts; escalate exceptions, policy ambiguities, and high-risk items to the assistant manager as needed.
· Reporting and controls: prepare and run daily/weekly/monthly and ad-hoc reports; validate accuracy of system updates and report outputs.
· Process improvement: identify efficiency and quality improvement opportunities; support implementation with the assistant manager (templates, SOP updates, automation ideas, clearer checklists).
· Compliance: ensure adherence to QRS (Quality and Risk Standards) first line of defense activities and applicable data protection requirements, especially due to the sensitive nature of these cases.
· Stakeholder coordination: liaise with relevant HR teams and internal partners to resolve dependencies and ensure seamless end-to-end completion.

Qualifications Required
· Any graduate degree with 4–6 years of relevant work experience
· Experience in HR administration / HR operations, ideally in employee lifecycle case management
· Should be a graduate in any stream; however, MBA or postgraduate qualification in Human Resources (HR) or a similar educational background will be preferred.
Preferred
· Working knowledge of SAP or similar HR systems
· Experience supporting UK/EMEA HR administration processes (or working across time zones)
· Prior exposure to case management tools and standardized quality/audit practices
Work location & shift
· Location: Hyderabad
· Shift: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM (aligned to UK support coverage).
