Tax Consultant II

CLM Managed Services Contracts Administrator (Mandarin OR Japanese Language Specialist)

Deloitte’s Tax Legal Business Services (LBS) teams provide a comprehensive suite of legal management consulting, information governance, contract lifecycle management, and technology-enabled services to our clients. Work you’ll do

  • Review, draft, and administer contracts and related documentation in either Mandarin or Japanese, depending on the position. When contracts in the required language are not available, support English language contracts.
  • Provide administrative support for contracts and related documentation in Mandarin or Japanese, and English.
  • Regularly interact with business users from China and/or Japan, requiring clear, accurate, and professional communication in the respective language.
  • Support day to day operations of the Contracting Process focused on SLA management and queue management
  • Direct support to Client for workflow management
  • Contract approvals routing and management
  • Escalation management and routing
  • Program specific document management for process execution
  • Support key portions of client engagements, while reporting to project leadership
  • Assist with client interviews and oversee information gathering
  • Create, prepare, and maintain project status and reports
  • Analyze and document processes and workflow
  • Apply technical and analytical skills to solve issues
  • Compile findings and recommendations
  • Prepare project deliverables
  • Assist with the preparation of executive-level presentations and materials
  • Candidates with proficiency in both Mandarin and Japanese will be given added advantage and may be considered for broader responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Fluency in either Mandarin OR Japanese (reading, writing, and speaking) at a professional business level is required, depending on the position.
  • Candidates should demonstrate language proficiency through recognized certifications (such as HSK 6 for Mandarin or JLPT N1 for Japanese, or equivalent), or by providing evidence of prior professional experience using Mandarin or Japanese in a business or legal context.
  • Professional demeanor and strong written and oral communication and presentation skills (in English and the required language)
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior-level stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and ability to both self-manage and work with a team to achieve project objectives
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and balance and prioritize multiple responsibilities
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to analyze data to make informed decisions and recommendations
  • Ability to manage multiple business systems simultaneously to support workflow and tracking
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in both Mandarin and Japanese is an added advantage.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in India.

Preferred

  • 3 - 4 years of experience in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), including Contract Data Migration, Template Rationalization, Contract Processes, and CLM Technologies
  • Experience in one or more of the following technologies: CLM Technologies: Ariba, Kira System, Seal Software, Eigen Technologies, Heretik, Icertis, Agiloft, Conga, DocuSign, Coupa|Exari, SirionLabs, or CobbleStone Ironclad
  • Ability to describe complex technical concepts and ideas in non-technical terms
  • Project management skills and/or basic project management experience
  • Prior experience in a professional services firm
