Job purpose:
This position will work within our Global Employer Services (GES) on our tax technology team. As part of this team, you will collaborate with the product engineering teams and GES Business leader(s) to design new processes/products and improve existing ones and provide world class digital experience to our clients and customers. You will also assist in our efforts to implement the product design process by incorporating latest industry standards.
Key job responsibilities:
- Design and implement integrations to enable digital solutions (APIs, data pipelines, ETL/ELT, scheduled jobs), ensuring reliability, auditability, and performance.
- Partner with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to translate current-state processes into future-state workflows and integration requirements.
- Drive operational efficiency through process improvement and automation, including root-cause analysis, control points, and reduction of manual touchpoints.
- Own performance management for integration-enabled processes: define operational KPIs, reporting cycles, opportunity pipeline, and impact tracking (cost/time/quality).
- Provide regular progress updates across multiple overlapping projects; maintain high-quality technical documentation (data flows, interface specs, SOPs, support/runbooks).
- Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership to manage change, adoption, and cross-team dependencies; resolve issues and pushback during transformation.
Key skills required
- Foundational and hands-on experience with SQL and ETL/data transformation concepts (data quality checks, reconciliation, scheduling, error handling).
- Strong understanding of APIs and integration patterns.
- Experience delivering process simplification and measurable improvements (cycle time, cost reduction, throughput, defect reduction).
- Ability to manage operational performance and reporting cycles, including oversight of KPIs and impact tracking.
- Agile execution: quickly turn around process requirements, prioritize work, and manage aggressive deadlines with incomplete product details.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills with virtual teams and senior leadership.
Preferred experience
- Six Sigma / Lean or demonstrated process excellence methods.
- Automation experience (workflow tools, scripting, job orchestration) and operating production integrations (support model, incident triage).
- Exposure to data visualization consumers (executive-facing reporting needs) to ensure integration outputs meet decision-use requirements.

Education/Background
- College coursework: B.E / B.Tech
- Preferred degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, Engineering and/or industry-recognized professional certification.
