Senior – Global Employer Services – Process Technology Team

Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited (“Deloitte Tax in India”) commenced operations in June 2004. Since then, nearly all of the Deloitte Tax LLP (“Deloitte Tax”) U.S. service lines and regions have obtained support services through Deloitte Tax in India.

We provide support through the tax transformation taking place in the marketplace. We offer a broad range of fully integrated tax services by combining technology and tax technical resources to uncover insights and smarter solutions for navigating an increasingly complex global environment.

Job purpose:

This position will work within our Global Employer Services (GES) on our tax technology team. As part of this team, you will collaborate with the product engineering teams and GES Business leader(s) to design new processes/products and improve existing ones and provide world class digital experience to our clients and customers. You will also assist in our efforts to implement the product design process by incorporating latest industry standards.

Key job responsibilities:

  • Develop and/or design agentic AI solutions, with a strong emphasis on Python-based engineering and modern GenAI patterns.
  • Partner with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to design and implement persona-based experiences and agentic workflows aligned to business outcomes
  • Own solution success by defining adoption goals, measuring usage, iterating based on feedback, and managing change to achieve operational efficiencies.
  • Provide regular progress updates across multiple overlapping projects, maintain high-quality technical documentation (architecture, prompts/agents, evaluation results, runbooks).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and GES leadership to prioritize a GenAI roadmap, manage trade-offs, and ensure delivery against business objectives.
  • Expand Gen AI skills to augment services and client needs, enabling scalable employee empowerment and productivity.

Key skills:

  • Strong Python software engineering (APIs/services, testing, packaging, CI/CD concepts), comfort working in agile, fast-paced environments with incomplete requirements.
  • Hands-on experience building LLM applications (agent frameworks/orchestration, prompt engineering, tool use, RAG, embeddings/vector stores, guardrails, evaluations).
  • Experience integrating Gen AI solutions with enterprise systems via APIs and secure patterns (auth, secrets, logging, monitoring).
  • Ability to define and track value/impact metrics (usage, cycle-time reduction, accuracy/quality measures) and run iteration loops.
  • Strong stakeholder management with ability to communicate technical decisions to non-technical leaders and manage pushback during transformation.

Preferred experience

  • GenAI-based document processing/OCR workflows (e.g., Azure Document Intelligence or similar) and extraction quality measurement.
  • Experience operationalizing AI (model/app monitoring, prompt/agent regression testing, human-in-the-loop review).
  • Familiarity with data privacy/security considerations for enterprise GenAI implementations.

Education/Background

  • College coursework: B.E / B.Tech
  • Preferred degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, Engineering and/or industry-recognized professional certification.
