Business Solution Analyst – Application Security and Identity Governance – Global Employer Services Technology Center

Job Purpose:
We are seeking a results-driven Business Analyst with 2–4 years of experience specializing in Application Security and Identity Governance Administration (IGA). In this role, you will collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to capture, analyze, and document business requirements for application security initiatives. You will advocate for security as a core business enabler, ensuring authentication and authorization support business objectives to drive secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions across our application landscape.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • ·       Engage with product owners and business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements related to application security and IGA.
  • ·       Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams, translating business needs into actionable security requirements and solution designs.
  • ·       Manage and prioritize product backlog features using Azure DevOps (ADO) or equivalent, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely delivery.
  • ·       Ensure requirements and solutions align with risk, regulatory standards and industry best practices for IGA.
  • ·       Assess and document application security needs, focusing on authentication (e.g., SSO, MFA) and authorization (e.g., RBAC, PBAC) requirements.
  • ·       Collaborate with technical teams to support the implementation of IGA capabilities, including user provisioning, access reviews, and policy management.
  • ·       Visualize and communicate requirements and process flows using Visio or equivalent tools for effective playback and stakeholder alignment.
  • ·       Validate new security features as part of business user validation (BUV) and provide Tier 2 support as needed.
  • ·       Identify opportunities to enhance security processes and controls, balancing risk mitigation with operational efficiency.

Education/Background:

·       College coursework: B.E / B.Tech

Key skills required

  • ·       3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on application security and/or IGA (such as SailPoint, Saviynt, MS Entra ID, etc.).
  • ·       Strong understanding of CIAM principles, user lifecycle management, and Identity Governance Administration (IGA).
  • ·       In-depth knowledge of authentication and authorization concepts (e.g., SSO, MFA, RBAC, PBAC).
  • ·       Experience supporting or implementing IGA solutions (e.g., user lifecycle management, access reviews, policy administration).
  • ·       Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into security requirements and actionable deliverables.
  • ·       Experience managing product backlogs and features in Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira.
  • ·       Proficiency in visualizing requirements and process flows using Visio or equivalent tools.
  • ·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • ·       Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • ·       Working knowledge of client secrets, JWT security tokens, SOAP-based authentication, and REST APIs.
  • ·       Proficiency in API testing and debugging using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
  • ·       Working knowledge of DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, or equivalent databases.
  • ·       Experience with Agile methodologies.

Preferred Certifications:

·       Relevant IGA, IAM or AWS Security Certifications.
