Senior Analyst- Immigration, Programs & Strategy
Work you’ll do
The Senior Analyst acts as point of contact for outreach and inquires pertaining to the immigration process and serves as a liaison between the immigration law firms, the business, and Talent channels. The Senior Analyst will provide support on immigration issues to internal and external immigration stakeholders across all business areas. In this role, the Senior Immigration Specialist will apply immigration knowledge to ensure internal and regulatory compliance, and support end to end processes
Job responsibilities
• Support internal team and external stakeholders on resolution of immigration issues and risks
• Gather, track, and provide client-related documents for immigration processes in alignment with Immigration mission, Deloitte deployment strategy, and OGC guidelines
• Interface regularly with senior leaders to obtain the client-related documents, developing working relationships with these stakeholders as appropriate
• Ensure appropriate level of standardization in process execution across the business offerings, and minimize service line-specific process steps
• Collaborate and communicate with US and USI team members to ensure process excellence across global immigration program
• Leverage and advance technology enabled solutions through collaboration with internal and external teams. Maintain high level of proficiency in relevant Deloitte technology resources, including system database; escalate and collaborate with necessary parties to resolve technical and data issues.
• Maintain an understanding of the business, markets, and service offerings within assigned population and across Deloitte, including the relevant skills and experience of the Deloitte Practitioners within assigned population
The Team
The Immigration Programs & Strategy Team is part of the Deloitte Talent Immigration organization. This team is responsible for supporting the needs of our foreign national practitioners across all businesses. This includes the development and delivery of strategic immigration programs, as well as strategic projects to enhance the immigration experience of our foreign national practitioners.
Qualifications
Graduation: Any graduation degree
Post-graduation: DTD (ISTD), MBA/ PGDBA/ PGDBM or equivalent degree
Experience: Overall, 3-6 years of progressive experience related to immigration
• Familiarity with employment-based immigration processes and procedures
• Strong competency in core professional skills, especially attention to detail, responsiveness, follow-through, flexibility, initiative, and tact
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with large teams
• Ability to help resolve complex and sensitive situations while managing confidential information appropriately and professionally
• Strong critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
