Talent Acquisition Sourcing—Assistant Manager

Work you’ll do
As an Assistant Manager in the sourcing team, you will manage a team of sourcing specialists working in a high-volume environment for your business within the firm. You may work in any of our businesses involving Consulting, Tax, Advisory, or Audit. You may also work for our Internal Services through our Enabling Areas function catering to our corporate functions, or our global member firm needs.
Elements of your job are as follows:
• Lead the team of Sourcing Specialists (Analyst/Senior Analyst).
• Work towards optimum and effective utilization of the team members.
• Responsible for managing the career of the team by sharing timely feedback and conducting regular reviews.
• Monitor, guide, support, and encourage the team members to reach their self-development and initiatives.
• Understand the firm and its functions and enforce process adherence and compliances by the team.
• Understand the assigned service areas, technologies, and sourcing processes.
• Consultative skill to prepare and present candidate marketplace analysis with sourcing and recruiting strategy to leadership.
• Manage clients, businesses, and other stakeholders.
· Develop and execute comprehensive external sourcing strategies that align to business needs in coordination with the larger Talent Acquisition team
· Provide support on strategic, and complex requisitions and provide surge support as needed
· Ensure Sourcing team is maintaining database of external pipeline and talent pools; provide pipeline reporting on sourcing activity
· Provide oversight and coaching for the sourcing team to ensure quality delivery and to help
· Capture and report on metrics that show results, trends and opportunities in key talent markets and supported business
· Managing one or two market offerings
· Identify prospects / pipeline through varying sourcing mechanisms (such as online engagement and Blitz management), converting prospects to applicants
· Conduct initial outreach discussions and screens of prospects
· Provide input for headcount and budget planning
The team
At Deloitte, our Talent Sourcing team is placed within our Talent Acquisition team. The Talent Acquisition team supports the organization with Talent solutions. The team works in an agile environment to meet the business needs of the organization and is instrumental in attracting the right talent to meet the ever-growing business demands. Qualifications
Required
• 6 to 8 years of recruiting experience with at least 5-6 years of sourcing experience using job sites, professional networking sites
• At least 2-3 years of team management experience
• Any undergraduate degree
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to drive process improvements amongst a large team
• Degree preferred.
• Organizational/ Project Management
• Leadership and counseling expertise
Preferred
• MBA in HR is preferred
• Experience in Executive Search firms
• Experience in leading information technology (IT) consulting firms/Big 4
• Experience in working across IT captive firms
