Key Job Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and manage all SharePoint projects - act as a technical expert
- Build custom SharePoint web parts and custom workflows.
- Understand and build SharePoint customizations using site definitions, custom content types, features and solution packages.
- Implementation and customization of SharePoint-based solutions, this would include standard and custom features, field types, content types, external content types, web parts, site columns, list creation, work flows, layouts, Lists & Libraries.
- Manage and support internal SharePoint Portals, CMS, Site Templates, Master Templates, Web applications & User Profiling.
- Create solutions using out of the box features of SharePoint.
- Design and develop custom Reports & dashboards
- Creation of out of the box solutions and customizations.
- Submission of assigned work within planned man-hours and schedule
- Ensure quality deliverables as per documented norms and standards
- Actively participate in product design reviews by providing creative and practical ideas and solutions in a teamwork
- Assist in designing project specific templates.
- Involve in unit testing and project release management.
- Works closely with leads in ensuring that all deliverables have good quality and adheres to schedules.
Key Skills
· Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint solutions to support Talent initiatives and processes
· Customize SharePoint sites, workflows, and integrations with other tools
· Translate business requirements into efficient, scalable SharePoint applications.
· Support project delivery by collaborating with Talent, Deloitte Technology other stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet business needs.
· Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues, including user support and system enhancements.
· Ensure data integrity, security, and governance within SharePoint environments.
· Document project configurations and provide ongoing technical guidance to end users and team members.
· Stay current on SharePoint updates and best practices relevant to Talent and HR solutions
- Application development experience with SharePoint 2013, 2016, 2019 and SharePoint Online.
- In-depth working knowledge of SharePoint, HTML, CSS, and jQuery; hands on .NET and data security skills preferred.
- Experience in SharePoint Designer workflow development.
- Experience building custom SharePoint web parts and custom SharePoint workflows· Understanding of building SharePoint customizations using site definitions, custom content types, features and solution packages
- Experience working on Medium to Large-Scale SharePoint Farms· Understanding of publishing features in SharePoint and experience working with Master Pages, Page Layouts, Themes and CSS.
- General business knowledge and understanding of professional services environment
- Application development experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2013 is desirable
- Experience in SharePoint Designer & workflow development.
- Practical implementation of CSOM and Server object model is must
- Java Script and jQuery implementation is a must
- Good knowledge on SharePoint Administration both at Administrative and developer level
- Complete understanding on SharePoint upgrade/migration process from lower to higher versions
- Must have working knowledge on writing complex workflows
- Strong knowledge on HTML(5) and CSS(3) and knowledge on bootstrap
- Strong knowledge on SharePoint System/ Solution Architecture Design
- Attention to detail and commitment to high quality/error free deliverables.
- High-level coding skills.
- Ability to solve complex software issues.
- Should have working knowledge on Custom Web Part Application Development
