Job purpose:
We are looking for an individual with solid quantitative and data analytics mindset. This position reports to the Senior and interacts with multiple stakeholders within the firm. The candidate should possess strong critical thinking skills, communication skills, excellent attention to detail, good time management skills and the ability to execute/deliver deliverables on time in a dynamic team environment. The candidate shall receive training on any proprietary applications. This role will provide ample challenging opportunities, help grow skill sets with new assignments, and provide direct interaction platform with leadership.
Key job responsibilities:
· Reporting:
o Support the periodic financial tracking, including:
§ Prepare management status reports
- Learn current processes quickly to effectively discuss/escalate issues with respective teams and leadership
o Support annual planning efforts, including assisting with yearly budgeting and forecasting exercises
§ Support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis for business initiatives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to gather data and provide financial insights that inform operational and strategic decisions
· Process Improvement
- Recommend and implement improvements to FP&A processes, tools, and reporting
- Support automation initiatives and adoption of financial systems
· Stakeholder Communication
o Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders
o Ensure clarity and accuracy in all financial communications
o Participate in periodic financial compliance review meetings
o Coordinating the logistics for periodic leadership calls and follow up on action items
o Supporting executive presentation efforts (e.g., building PowerPoint slides)
Education/Background:
University graduate with a degree in Business, Finance, or a related subject and / or equivalent knowledge and expertise achieved through work experience
Key skills desired
Must have:
· Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience, quantitative role preferred, such as financial analyst
· Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis tools (such as Excel or BI software), and familiarity with ERP systems and forecasting techniques
· Advanced knowledge in building PowerPoint presentations
· Strong attention to detail
· Strong critical thinking skills
· Excellent written and oral communication skills to present financial information clearly and effectively to stakeholders
· Comfortable working in a dynamic team environment where projects, and deadlines often require multi-tasking and flexible work schedules
· Aptitude to be vocal, proactive and self-driven
· Focus on self-review and providing high quality deliverables
· Willingness to stretch when needed to meet deadlines
Good to have
· Knowledge of MS Excel macros is a plus
