Position Summary

As a Software Asset Lifecycle Management Senior Analyst, you will work with the latest technology, including automation and AI, encouraging innovation while developing and supporting best practices to drive software investment value and efficiency for our businesses.  This role is far more than license compliance; it is about having an in-depth level of insight of the business software needs and balancing it with an ever-increasing complex software inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Complete all admin and analysis to support the Software Governance Board (SGB) process.
  • Carry out the daily operation of the software asset lifecycle management processes.
  • Process new software and software removal requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Support the maintenance of the software inventory/catalogue.
  • Liaising with end users to ensure that software is up to date, in line with maintenance agreements and their working requirements.
  • Support any cost optimization activity (e.g. re-harvesting)
  • Enter and maintain information in the Software Asset Management toolset to address software versioning.
  • Communicate via email, telephone, group meetings and presentations to end users, management and Vendors.

Work shift Timings (IST): 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM / 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM (7:30 AM to 5:00 PM)

Qualifications

·       Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology / Graduate

·       3+ years’ experience in a similar role and Enterprise organisation.

Essential

  • Experience in a similar role at a large organization (c30,000 employees)
  • Understanding of Software Asset Management, Release and Deployment processes
  • Experience working with desktop, VDI, server and SaaS platforms.
  • Produce dashboards and reporting to support strategic decision making, cost optimization and efficient use of the software inventory/catalogue.
