Within the Global Consulting Services, the Delivery pillar supports and works with Deloitte Firms to standardize delivery capabilities across their offerings to provide a consistent experience and higher quality to our clients and proactively manage the increasing complexity and lower the risk in our business. The team drives standardization during scoping, estimation, and delivery. The Ascend team is part of Delivery pillar and works jointly with the US Ascend Program team. The team’s key goal is bringing together the best of our firm’s delivery assets and capabilities to our global network through an integrated delivery platform, thus helping our consulting practices achieve consistently high-quality delivery performance.
Overview of the role
The Senior Product Manager will drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Ascend Integrated Gateway, acting as the voice of the customer to ensure features meet business needs. The role manages localization requirements, UAT/testing cycles, backlog grooming, and collaborates with technical teams across SDLC phases to clarify requirements, triage defects, and deliver continuous value.
Key responsibilities
- Lead Product Manager to collaborate with the US product team on Ascend Integrated Gateway vision, strategy, roadmap, and release planning
- Proactively engages with Member Firms (MF), Global Ascend Liaisons, and other stakeholders to understand localization requirements, work with the US product team on prioritization, and release planning
- Act as Voice of the Customer (MFs) to ensure features are delivered per spec and meet business needs; Coordinate UAT and testing cycles in collaboration with super users and QA teams
- As a product SME, engages with offering leaders and business community to advise on system features, use cases, and seeks feedback for future product backlog grooming exercise
- Engages with technical teams to clarify requirements across SDLC phases. Participates in QA/Defect Review phase and advises on triaging and prioritizing issues with a goal to ship the product and deliver continued value to the business
- Collaborate with Enablement Leads, Program PMO, and GCS teams to gather updates, align on priorities, and ensure seamless execution of initiatives
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates, insights, and recommendations
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings and discussions to ensure alignment and resolve any operational roadblocks
Requisite core skills
- Proficient in leading cross functional teams across different geographies and enterprise technology teams in planning product roadmap and executing the project as per the plan
- Expertise in technical project management enterprise scale cloud implementations
- Experience with SAFe methodology framework from planning to implementation along with the certification
- Knowledge in emerging technology concepts Gen AI, Agentic, RAG, LLM
- Experience in deploying systems with architecture frameworks like micro services, event-driven architecture
- Experience in using various Devops tools, CI/CD pipeline orchestration, AI/ML ops, Github
Professional Skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, ability to work independently with minimal guidance and manage multiple projects
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, responsiveness, and strong track record of executing high-impact initiatives
- Strong core consulting skills – i.e. research, financial analysis, business writing, including logical data structuring and proficiency in storyboarding techniques to derive meaningful insights
Qualifications, experience, work location, and timing
We are looking for a passionate, high energy, and self-motivated individual who is accustomed to working independently and collaboratively on small and large projects in a close-knit team.
- Degree in computer science, engineering or STEM
- Work experience: 14+ years of relevant experience
- Location: Hyderabad/Bengaluru
- Comfortable working with team members and stakeholders across geographies and time zones
- Work hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM or 02:00 PM – 11:00 PM (expected to be flexible with time zones)
- Working from office: The individual is expected to come to office at least 2 days a week as per the ‘work from office’ schedule
