Position Summary

Job Title: Assistant Manager, Strategy and Operations - Product Engineering Group 

Job Purpose: The Assistant Manager for Product Engineering Strategy will play a key role in implementing strategic initiatives to enhance the performance and productivity of the Product Engineering Group. This role involves working closely with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure the alignment of product engineering strategies with overarching business objectives.

Work you’ll do:

Strategic Planning and Change Management:

  • Assist in the execution of a comprehensive product engineering strategy that aligns with the company's vision and objectives.
  • Support strategic initiatives focused on improving product development and engineering processes to deliver superior value outcomes for the business.
  • Promote the consistent application of the product engineering strategy across all business units in the Product Engineering Group.
  • Leverage advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills to develop high-impact presentations, reports, and dashboards that communicate strategic insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

Value Measurement:

  • Help establish and monitor key product and platform value metrics to ensure optimal ROI.
  • Facilitate understanding of value delivered and areas of improvement across teams.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by incorporating best practices into product engineering processes.
  • Assist in the planning, resourcing, and execution of product engineering projects.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Cooperate with Capability and Product leaders to foster a continuous learning ecosystem that encourages mastery and nurtures high-performing teams.
  • Encourage a collaborative environment that fosters innovation and sharing of ideas, contributing to a robust engineering culture.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product engineering strategy with broader organizational objectives.
  • Engage with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs, and incorporate their feedback into the product engineering strategy.
  • Contribute to analysis and recommendations regarding the financial performance of the product engineering group to ensure fiscal budgets are met. 
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end business processes, ensuring that strategic initiatives are aligned with operational realities and business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field. An MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus.
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in operations, with at least 2 years in a strategic role.
  • Demonstrable experience in strategic planning and execution within a product engineering environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to create impactful presentations, dashboards, and perform complex data analysis.
  • Excellent team collaboration skills, Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Work Location: Hyderabad

Work Timings: 11PM-8PM
