Delphix Data Analytics Engineer – CL4
Role Overview: As a Data Analytics Engineer, you will actively engage in your engineering craft, taking a hands-on approach to multiple high-visibility projects. Your expertise will be pivotal in delivering solutions that delight customers and users, while also driving tangible value for Deloitte's business investments. You will leverage your extensive engineering craftmanship across multiple programming languages and modern frameworks, consistently demonstrating your strong track record in delivering high-quality, outcome-focused solutions. The ideal candidate will be a dependable team player, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy advanced software solutions.
Work you will do
· Responsible for implementation/delivering/Administering Delphix Platform to support the Deloitte US Member Firm.
· Development, maintenance and testing of Delphix Engine, Delphix Masking Engine.
· Participation in meetings about changes in the system itself or source systems, input/impact assessment
· Knowledge of Build/Release management in Delphix Platform.
· Expertise in monitoring the Delphix Engines.
· Ability to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve live Engine issues
· Deep expertise around best practices in the various aspects of IT, technology trends, application capabilities and ability to develop solutions to implement key business strategies.
· Be able to work with the business to understand their needs.
· Knowledge in SQL Server Database.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Key Qualifications:
§ A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline. An advanced degree (e.g., MS) is preferred but not required. Experience is the most relevant factor.
§ Strong data engineering foundation with deep understanding of data-structure, algorithms, code instrumentations, etc.
§ 3-5 years of experience with Data Anonymization tool – Delphix.
§ Able to work on the Masking algorithms.
§ Able to work on the Delphix Virtualization Engine, creating Gold and Child VDBs, troubleshooting issues in Virtualization Engine and Masking Engine.
§ Able to work on the Delphix Control Tower.
§ 6+ years in-depth experience in RDBMS, SQL
§ Hands-on experience in unstructured file data masking.
§ Exposure in Azure/AWS/GCP.
§ Experience in anonymizing the structured data (SQL, Azure SQL) as well unstructured((JSON/XML/BLOB/CSV) data.
§ Experience in corporate standards and guidelines for dealing with client data, including sensitive data.
§ Experience in dynamic and persistent data masking techniques, including encryption, tokenization, randomization, substitution, customized masking techniques, and seed value masking.
§ Ability to understand the business and data domain of the customer or partner and the business problems the customer or partner is facing, with the intent to solve the business problems.
§ Privacy architect - capable of computing statistical validation of many different types of anonymizations
§ Strong oral and written communication skills.
§ Very familiar with Data Security principles.
§ Experience in Delphix engine upgrade.
Good to have skills:
1. Knowledge of SQL Database
2. Knowledge of Delphix API’s
3. Knowledge in PaaS/SaaS/IaaS technologies
4. Experience with products hosted on cloud would be a big plus.
5. Experience in Salesforce, Snowflake and SAP HANA data virtualization and masking setup.
