III-Sr. Analyst, IT Business Analyss – Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited

Work you’ll do
As a CL 3 professional at Senior Analyst level in IT Business Analysis, this role will support Technology Business Management (TBM) and FP&A activities for the Information Technology Services (ITS) budget and Hardware Center of Excellence (HW CoE). The position will focus on budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, variance analysis, cost tracking, and preparation of management reporting packs. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with large datasets while collaborating with internal stakeholders to support budget planning and execution effectively
Responsibilities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for ITS and HW CoE
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights
- Build and maintain Excel-based financial models, trackers, and reports
- Track operational and capital expenditures and ensure data accuracy
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align budget planning and execution
- Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial review packs
- Support finance operations through data analysis and reporting activities
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial information
Required Skills / Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Strong understanding of financial statements and cost center budgeting
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and lookups
- Ability to work with large and complex datasets
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting ITS budgets
- Exposure to Hardware CoE or technology-related financial processes
- Knowledge of depreciation and lease accounting
- Experience with SAP for financial reporting and data extraction
- Familiarity with Power BI or PowerPoint for reporting and presentations
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
- Relevant finance or analytics certification preferred
Experience
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or business/financial analysis
- Experience working with finance data, reporting tools, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience in technology finance, IT budgeting, or internal business support environments will be an advantage
Interview Process
- Excel Skills Test – assessment to evaluate practical Excel knowledge
- Personal Interview – discussion on FP&A experience, domain knowledge, and communication skills
