UI UX Designer – HYD - DM

We are seeking an experienced UI/UX designer to join our team. As UI/UX designer you'll play a key role in shaping the future of employee experience within Enabling Functions. Our mission is to co-create exceptional digital experiences that empower and inspire our people.

We're seeking a creative thinker who can push boundaries and design intuitive, engaging experiences that surpass anything our employees have encountered before. You'll be involved in all stages of the product lifecycle, from initial ideation and interaction modelling to crafting pixel-perfect UI designs. We value a hands-on approach and are looking for a designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside our service designers and product managers to develop a deep understanding of the needs of our employees, to map out their frustrations relating to existing 'as is' processes or user experiences within specific existing technologies.
• Defining initial stage solutions to meet the needs of Deloitte employees using user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to visually communicate your 'to be' ideas both to end users and internal teams. Pay attention to the details to keep Deloitte's quality bar high in everything you create.
• You'll be expected to conduct first-hand usability testing and user research to evaluate your ideas and to gain valuable insights into user behaviour, preferences, and pain points that will inform your decision to iterate on, or shelve, your ideas.
• You'll apply your deep understanding of design systems and your experience of working with UX patterns and component libraries to develop detailed UX and UI designs that delight our people.
• You will be expected to monitor and interpret product analytic reporting to measure the impact and success of design initiatives you and your team have created.
• You will also be conducting independent audits using the heuristic UX evaluation framework of products both built by your immediate team and by third party vendor.
• Respectfully challenging the team whilst keeping the end user at the heart of the problem.
• You will support your craft lead to inspire, educate and excite your peer group to drive continuous improvement across the team.

Stakeholder management:

• You are an advocate for the importance of user experience across the organisation, fostering a user-centric mindset, and helping stakeholders understand design thinking.
• Communicating and building alignment with stakeholders across your projects, securing buy-in on your team's ideas and direction.

Location: Hyderabad

Work shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM

Qualifications

·       Any Graduation.

·       Skills/Certification on Graphical design or arts is a Plus.

Essential

·       Proven experience in end-to-end product design, having designed and shipped multiple new products or features across various platforms in an agile environment.

·       Strong UX research and usability testing skills, with the ability to gather user insights and leverage data to inform design decisions.

·       Experience working within established brand guidelines while demonstrating a passion for pushing creative boundaries to deliver exceptional user interfaces.

·       Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas effectively, build relationships, and influence stakeholders at all levels.

·       A deep understanding of user-centric design principles and the ability to advocate for them effectively.

·       Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and stakeholders concurrently, adapting communication style and approach based on audience and context.

·       First hand experience of conducting independent Heuristic Review assessments.

Technical skills

• A comprehensive understanding of usability and accessibility standards.
• Responsive design application across web and mobile.
• Solid examples within your portfolio creating information architectures centred around a deep understanding of user behaviour and needs. You will practice evidence-based design and can rationalise your decisions clearly and credibly.
• You will be an expert in using Figma, FigJam and have worked closely with engineering teams to ensure that the requirements and acceptance criteria for each element of your designs are understood and met the first time.
• Deep understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and their application in software design.
• Able to create detailed acceptance criteria for developer colleagues to ensure that final deliverables adhere to design principles/requirements.
• Ideally, you will be familiar with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• You will have experience in interaction design and a working understanding of application of design systems.
• You will have deep experience in creating high-impact UI Designs across both native mobile and web applications.
• You're motivated to create outstanding visual designs that align with brand guidelines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Agile & Knowledge of ADO would be beneficial but not essential.
