Product Owner – Assistant Manager - HYD

Deloitte is looking for a Product Owner to join its talented IT Business Applications team to coordinate, innovate and continually improve a wide range of products consumed by our business.
IT Business Applications is an internal team responsible for a wide catalogue of bespoke, SaaS and Globally managed applications. Our involvement spans the full software lifecycle and as such, work covers a variety of project and BAU activities.
Work you’ll do
· As a Product Owner within Business Applications, you will work as part of a team who are accountable for the build, management and support of a diverse range of applications within Deloitte.
· A key focus will be on all aspects of value delivery, working closely with different stakeholders (including IT leadership, senior business stakeholders and vendors) to define product strategy and translate this into a clear and actionable roadmap to ensure your product delivers significant benefit to the business.
· You will plan and prioritize a product backlog to drive enhancements while being responsible for the full application lifecycle. This includes ensuring compliance with Deloitte and industry standards.
Requirements:
You’re a natural at communicating both verbally and in the written format to a wide range of stakeholders, a great active listener and hugely collaborative.
Essentials:
· Ability to translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories and acceptance criteria.
· Build effective relationships to derive product roadmaps and ensure they are reflective of any changing business requirements.
· Experience of working with business stakeholders across different levels to identify and prioritise initiatives based on value and track through to delivery through a product backlog.
· Demonstrable knowledge of delivery and service methodologies including Waterfall, Agile and ITIL
· Analyzing reporting data to gain business insights for continual service improvement opportunities
· Innovative and creative thinker who is able to articulate and deliver on a vision
· Strong at building effective relationships
· Organizational and leadership skills to influence, negotiate and manage the competing demands of different stakeholder groups.
· Ability to coordinate activities across multiple functions to maintain service operations and development.
Desirables:
- Familiarity with SaaS solutions
- Vendor management experience
- Agile certification
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO)

Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology or equivalent
