Position Summary

USI NSE Reporting Hub – Senior Analyst

This role is ideal for a proactive Senior Analyst or equivalent professionals with an agile mindset, capable of supporting a wide range of operational and strategic initiatives that meet senior stakeholders’ scrutiny. Reporting to the Hub Assistant Managers and Manager, this role will be part of the core offshore hub delivering key reporting tasks for the NSEC leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting, Analytics & Data Management

  • Extract data from various internal and external sources for the regular generation and updating of reports, dashboards, and management information (MI) using Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and databases.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and relevance of all data and reporting outputs, applying robust testing and quality assurance processes.
  • Analyze large data sets to identify trends, derive insights, and support executive-level business decisions.
  • Monitor and maintain the functionality and accuracy of Excel VBA scripts, Tableau, and Power BI dashboards, ensuring solutions remain up to date and operational.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, system architectures, data workflows, SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and best practices to enable knowledge transfer and audit readiness.

Programme and Business Support

  • Support the execution of assigned business support tasks, such as, budget tracking, and general program management activities.
  • Implement and oversee change management processes, documenting and tracking change requests and approvals in line with agreed governance protocols.
  • Conduct ad-hoc strategic analyses and discrete program management activities as needed by business leaders or stakeholders.
  • Drive process improvement by identifying operational gaps, proposing enhancements, and monitoring the impact of implemented changes.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Develop executive-level reports and presentations, distilling complex data into meaningful insights and themes tailored for senior stakeholders.
  • Prepare content for, and support, meetings with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective action-tracking and summary follow-ups.
  • Monitor shared mailboxes, ensuring timely acknowledgement and response to inquiries in line with operational service agreements.

Continuous Learning & Adaptability

  • Upskill proactively to adopt new tools, technologies, and methodologies in response to evolving team and organizational needs.
  • Stay current with organizational strategy and external market trends to ensure all analytics and reporting remain relevant and forward-looking.

  • Flexible approach, able to juggle multiple projects and deliver high-quality results.

Business Acumen

  • Understanding of business drivers, financial principles, and program management.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present information clearly to senior leadership and adapt messaging to diverse stakeholder audiences.
  • Experience in developing executive-level presentations and summarizing complex topics concisely.

Experience

  • Track record of managing multiple priorities, reporting on concurrent workstreams, and thriving in fast-paced environments.
  • Comfortable working independently, taking accountability for tasks, and incorporating feedback for process enhancement.

About the Team: The NSE Centre (“NSEC”) leadership teams comprises teams that support the NSE Executive leaders who are responsible for the strategic & operational management of the NSE member firm. The NSEC Leadership & Operations Hub team is part of a core offshore hub set up to support the NSEC leadership teams to ensure overall business operations. This includes both routine requirements to ensure business continuity, as well as ad hoc requirements that come up in response to key leadership attention areas. The Hub team will play a critical role in ensuring consistency of support whilst being agile to respond to immediate & urgent asks from the leaders. 

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.

Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Highly numerate and analytical, with a proactive approach to solving business challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative and excel under pressure, especially with conflicting and tight deadlines.
  • Adaptable, with the ability to pivot quickly in response to shifting business priorities.
  • Relationship-builder, keen to share new ideas and collaborate.
  • Detail-oriented, takes ownership, makes informed decisions, and executes effectively.
  • Proven team player, capable of working with virtual and distributed teams.

Professional Experience

  • At least 4+ years’ demonstrated expertise working with data; skilled in leveraging analytics for business value.
  • Proven track record of applying technology to business challenges and presenting insights to varied audiences.
  • Experience in handling at least two complete Power BI or Tableau projects end-to-end.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to elicit client requirements and design/implement effective reporting solutions.
