Role description
The DLP analyst is a member of the NSE Information Protection team and is responsible for providing Data Loss Prevention expertise across North South Europe (NSE).
Reporting to the NSE Head of Information Protection, the role provides support for a range of operational security control activities including policy recommendation, creation, DLP event management, and investigation at Deloitte.
Location: Hyderabad
Work shift Timings: 02:00 PM to 11:00 PM
· Is responsible for the operational delivery of the DLP service across NSE.
· Understands the service and the underlying systems and processes.
· Represents the service across NSE, engaging with the SME’s and Data Owners as required.
· Coordinates communication among NSE SME’s and systems staff.
· Manages vendor tickets.
· Manages changes to, and the removal of, existing DLP rules.
· Manages the identification and implementation of new rules (including the document on-boarding process).
· Understands the business aims and values of reporting and liaises with stakeholders and operational teams to improve reporting capability and meet business requirements by demonstrating value.
- · Supports the NSE DLP Manager in day-to-day activities.
Qualifications
- 4-8 years of significant experience in program/project management related to IT/information security.
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field;
- Strong management, communicational and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in stakeholder management, coordination, communications and reporting across a complex stakeholder structure.
- · No formal DLP experience is required, however having a broad understanding of DLP and wider information protection secutriy controls would be beneficial.
- · Demonstrating Data Loss Prevention and Information Protection concepts, including working knowledge of event triage, and data analysis, and a strong understanding of insider threat management.
- · Demonstrated understanding of service delivery, and continuous service improvement processes.
- · Proven track record and experience of the following in a highly complex and global organization:
- Excellent interpersonal skills as well as the ability to develop and maintain trusted relationships across the firm are essential.
- Engages with the wider Global DLP team to understand broader Information protection initiatives and plans for the future of the service, which includes Agent upgrades.
- Strong willingness to learn and work outside of knowledge comfort zone.
- Specific technology expertise not required but experience managing IT resources is desirable.
Preferred Certifications:
· MS Office Suite, Power BI,
· ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation
certifications (such as CISMP, CISM, CISSP, or equivalent) are desirable
