Role description
The Cybersecurity Strategy assistant role is an assistant manager role that supports the delivery of the Deloitte UK’s strategic objectives, and reports directly to the Head of the UK SEGC (Strategy, Executive Governance) team.
The role is a part of the Strategy and Operational Excellence team within the SEGC function of the UK Cyber security First Line of Defense. This includes the coordination and alignment of security initiatives, supporting the local implementation of security capabilities, supporting strategy creation, dissemination and gathering feedback, facilitating governance reporting and activities to assist the CISO to deliver the agreed objectives.
Location: Hyderabad
Work shift Timings: 02:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- · Maintain and track risks, issues and actions, benefits and changes related to Strategy and related objectives as directed while ensuring timely and appropriate follow-up.
- · Provide logistical support as necessary for all aspects of SEGC meetings, workshops and deliverables; coordinate the agenda, meeting minutes, and actions to ensure seamless, timely delivery and expectation management with all stakeholders.
- · Maintain and create relevant networks and effective working relationships with our relevant stakeholders across the UK business lines including Enabling Functions
- · Create new opportunities to improve effective communication channels.
- · Support the delivery of consistent communication to achieve buy-in, where required, and awareness of the activities as directed.
Qualifications
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in program/project management related to IT/information security.
- Strong management, communicational and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of core cybersecurity domains (e.g., IAM, vulnerability management, security monitoring, cloud security, data protection, incident response) and how they translate into programs and metrics.
- Experience in stakeholder management, coordination, and reporting across a complex stakeholder structure.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to connect technical work to business outcomes.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment; able to manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight.
- Proficiency with common collaboration and reporting tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Teams Planner, or similar).
