Work you’ll do
- Virtual Technical Analyst is a critical member of our IT team, responsible for providing advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure directly to our employees based at our UK offices.
- This is a premium video support service hence communication and executive presence on camera are very important.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems, escalating to higher-tier support or vendors when necessary, and ensuring timely resolution. including proactive advice and training to improve efficiency.
· Assist with monitoring, troubleshooting, local area networks (LAN), wireless networks (Wi-Fi), VPNs, and other network infrastructure components.
- You will provide remote support and assistance to users who have tech related issues. Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction across the business, applying a professional, friendly, and approachable manner at all times, even under pressure.
· Solid understanding of Builds, Configuring and administration of IT equipment including but not limited to, Windows PCs, Apple Macintosh, Mobile phones, printer hardware and network or server equipment utilizing remote connectivity tools.
· Working under your own initiative whilst following procedures and working with systems and processes. Timely reporting of incidents and risks in accordance with processes.
- Identify root causes of recurring technical issues and implement preventative measures.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for common issues and resolutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance, training, and mentorship.
- Lead by example in customer service, technical proficiency, and adherence to IT policies.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring security measures to protect company data and systems.
- Responsible for managing the Bookable and National support queues, prioritizing tasks, and making sure users are kept informed in a timely manner, following the right procedures using the ServiceNow ITSM tool and adhering to all Incident Management Practices.
- Ensure our CMDB is accurately updated and reflects the correct statuses for assets within office location and those assigned to our practitioners.
- We encourage you to show initiative by following procedures and working with our systems and processes to get the job done efficiently. The focus will be delivering exceptional remote support to all members of our firm.
- Collaboration with other IT services departments is essential to maintain a culture of quality and teamwork.
- You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our IT security meets the necessary compliance standards

Qualifications
· Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology / Graduate
· 3+ years’ experience in a similar role and Enterprise organisation.
