USI Oracle OCI Solution Architect, Deputy Manager / Manager NSE Growth
We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and visionary Oracle OCI Solution Architect. You will be responsible for ensuring all solution architectures in your purview are architecturally sound, fit for purpose and technically deliverable within the context of available people, process, and technology, actively supporting both the Bidding the Delivery processes.
As a Oracle OCI Solution Architect, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of OCI solutions across NSE. You will bridge the gap between complex business needs and technical solutions by designing and delivering robust Oracle Cloud architectures that align with strategic objectives and enable transformative business outcomes.
Work you’ll do
In this role you will:
· Be the senior representative of the Solution Architecture practice within a platform/domain(s)/service line(s) to deliver the right solution architecture outcomes taking into account the customer need, and the IT strategy.
· Collaborate with sales and account teams to develop cloud migration strategies, create solution proposals, and support pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations and proof-of-concept initiatives.
· Lead client engagements to assess requirements, architect OCI-based solutions (including compute, storage, networking, security, and AI/ML services), and present technical recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Develop high-level and detailed architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and deployment plans.
· Work closely with clients to gather requirements, present solution options, and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
· Lead technical workshops and proof-of-concept initiatives.
· Oversee and support the migration of workloads from on-premises or other clouds to OCI.
· Ensure best practices in cloud adoption, security, and compliance.
· Partner with application, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure cohesive solution delivery.
· Mentor and guide junior architects and technical staff.
· Stay current with OCI updates, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
· Recommend enhancements to existing cloud architectures.

Qualifications
· Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology
Essential
· 8–12 years of total professional experience, including at least 4 years of hands-on experience working with the Oracle OCI Solution and Architect role.
· Expertise in documenting and implementing complex IT infrastructure systems that meet the business requirements.
· Experience of analyzing and documenting existing on-premises/cloud/external applications and infrastructure (networking, storage, hosting and security elements).
· Strong understanding of OCI services (compute, storage, networking, security, databases, monitoring, etc.).
· Experienced in planning and executing cloud migration initiatives—including hybrid and multi-cloud environments—covering data center migrations, application modernization, and database transitions.
· Proven ability to design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures.
· Experience creating architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and deployment plans.
· Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.) and scripting (Python, Shell, etc.).
· Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, and cost optimization tools.
· Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
· Ability to conduct technical workshops and proof-of-concept initiatives.
· Oracle Cloud certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate/Professional).
Desirable:
· Prior consulting or client-facing experience
· Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) AI Platform, including building, deploying, and managing AI/ML models and leveraging OCI’s integrated data science and AI services
· Experience with Oracle applications (e.g., E-Business Suite, Oracle ERP Cloud) on OCI.
· Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
· Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
