Position Summary

Cloud Engineer – 3 to 6 Years Experience

We're seeking a seasoned cloud engineer to orchestrate and manage our cloud infrastructure platforms and its transformation, wielding your deep expertise in IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings to design, build, and sustain high-performance, secure, and cost-optimized solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Architecting:
    • Design secure, scalable, and cost-effective Azure and OCI architectures aligned with business objectives using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings along with industry best practices.
    • Design robust cloud security architectures leveraging Azure AD, OCI IAM, and threat detection/prevention tools and methodologies.
    • Craft high-availability cloud network topologies utilizing advanced routing, security groups, and S2S VPN configurations.
  • Implementing:
    • Lead cloud migrations with minimal downtime and disruption, utilizing proven migration methodologies.
    • Good hands-on expertise of end-to-end cloud services on both Azure and OCI platforms like compute instances, storage, networking, security, NSGs, Route Tables, DNS, Application Gateways, WAFs etc.
    • Proven ability to manage and optimize cloud server instances, including configuration, performance tuning, patching, and monitoring.
    • Expertise in SSL flows and its configurations on cloud workloads basis on the organization policies and best practices.
    • Ability to manage Palo Alto Firewall(s) and able to incorporate new changes in the existing firewall configurations like interfaces, Security Policies, Ingress and Egress rules etc.
    • Well verse in the concept of Disaster Recovery on the cloud platform and different topologies around it.
  • Optimizing:
    • Continuously monitor and optimize cloud performance for cost efficiency and resource utilization.
    • Automate server patching and vulnerability management procedures.
    • Supporting applications team and business on their day-to-day activities around various cloud workloads.
  • Collaborating:
    • Partner with internal teams (DevOps, Security, IT, Infra, Risk, Data Privacy, Applications etc.) to translate business needs into technical cloud solutions.
    • Champion in knowledge sharing and foster best practices within the organization.
    • Stay abreast of cutting-edge cloud technologies and trends, driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 6 years of experience designing, building, and managing enterprise cloud infrastructure on Azure and OCI.
  • Demonstrated expertise in IaaS (VMs, storage, networking etc.), PaaS (App Service, Functions etc.), and SaaS offerings.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Azure AD, OCI IAM, and cloud security best practices.
  • Masterful understanding of advanced cloud networking concepts (VNets, peering, routing protocols).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead technical discussions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (strongly preferred).

Bonus points:

  • Experience with managing hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
  • Experience with automation tools like Bicep or Azure Automation.
  • Proven proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform and/or Ansible.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience in GCP and AWS cloud platforms.
