Assistant Manager – Cloud Security - Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited

Responsibilities
As a team member of USI T&I/IT Security, you will be accountable for, but not limited to the responsibilities below.
Operational
- Develop and implement comprehensive cloud security strategies to protect data and applications hosted in cloud environments.
- Design and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards for cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and monitor cloud security tools and technologies.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits of cloud environments to identify and mitigate potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security controls are integrated into the development and deployment processes.
- Coordinate with Deloitte global organizations to align with Cloud security guardrails.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of security engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents in cloud and on-premise environments, conducting thorough root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks for cloud and on-premise security incidents.
- Participate in security architecture reviews and provide guidance on secure design principles for cloud-based applications and services.
- Ensure the implementation of security controls and best practices for identity and access management (IAM) in cloud environments.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proficiency in cloud security tools and technologies, including CSPM, SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and vulnerability management solutions.
- Hands-on experience with security incident management, including detection, response, and remediation of security incidents in both cloud and on-premise environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide technical teams.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or AWS Certified Security Specialty are highly desirable.
- Experience with DevSecOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of container security and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Experience: 5-6 years of experience in Cloud security.
Work Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 2 PM IST or 2 PM to 11 PM IST.
