Technical Manager – Specialist Microsoft SharePoint Server and Azure Administrator - Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited.
Role:
We are looking for an experienced SharePoint and Azure Administrator will oversee the administration and management of the SharePoint environment, Azure infrastructure, and .NET platform deployments. This role includes developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, automating the SharePoint platform with PowerShell DSC, managing certificates for the entire member firm using Venafi, and providing robust troubleshooting skills for regular BAU tasks and outages. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive technical expertise, and excellent collaboration abilities to communicate effectively with different teams, identify issues, and implement solutions, including conducting root cause analysis. excellent collaboration abilities with stakeholders, in line with Belgium business standards while prioritizing operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
· Manage and maintain the SharePoint environment, including Farm installation, patching, Migration Activities, troubleshooting, Monitoring and Performance Management for Belgium member firm.
· Work closely with Belgian SharePoint Architect and collaborate with peers, technical leads and project managers residing in Belgium.
· Oversee the Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components.
· Monitor and optimize Azure resources to ensure cost-efficiency and performance.
· Manage .NET platform deployments, ensuring applications are deployed efficiently and securely.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to .NET applications and deployments.
· Manage certificates for the entire Member firm IT Teams using Venafi, ensuring secure communication and data protection.
· Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automating the SharePoint platform.
· Implement automation scripts using PowerShell Desired State Configuration (DSC) to streamline platform deployment, patching processes.
· Provide robust troubleshooting skills for regular BAU tasks and during outages.
· Collaborate with other IT team members to Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and impact on operations.
· Conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of issues and improve system reliability.
· Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
· Experience with Sharegate migrations from on-prem to on-prem and SharePoint online.
· Apply problem-solving skills to troubleshoot, rectify various technical issues while managing multiple tasks.
Experience
· 10+ years of experience with a minimum of 7+ years in SharePoint and Azure administration, .NET platform management, and CI/CD pipeline automation.
· Extensive knowledge of SharePoint 2016/2019 on Prem and Azure environments.
· Proficiency in managing Azure infrastructure and services, including virtual machines, storage accounts, Key vaults, security Authentications (IAM), and networking components.
· Experience with .NET platform administration and deployments, including configuring and maintaining applications, ensuring secure deployments, and troubleshooting to maintain high availability and performance.
· Proficiency in Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline development for various deployment stages (Development, UAT, Production).
· Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Desired State Configuration (DSC) for automating SharePoint management and deployment, including provisioning web applications, configuring service applications, managing permissions, deploying patches, and ensuring consistent configurations.
· Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
· Experience in certificate management, including creation and administration using Venafi or similar tools.
· Experience with AvePoint Online Services for governing MS Teams sites.
· Strong communication, stakeholder management, people management and coaching skills, including ability to articulate solutions to a senior as well as a detailed/technical audience.
Qualifications
