This Assistant Manager – Data Analytics Engineer role within Workstation Services will lead and contribute to analytics engineering and automation initiatives that enhance end-user productivity, device experience, compliance, and operational decision-making across the Deloitte US firms. The role focuses on building analytics solutions and automation with minimal disruption to end users while adhering to Deloitte’s security, compliance, and governance standards.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver an optimized, stable, and productive workstation / digital experience by leveraging advanced analytics and proactive insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, PMs, and data engineers to align outcomes, improve data quality, and drive measurable improvements through analytics engineering.
- Build and maintain analytics pipelines, feature engineering workflows, and data preparation routines using enterprise data sources (e.g., SQL-based systems and platform telemetry).
- Develop technical solutions and algorithms that support business decision-making and operational stability across endpoint environments
- Create automation and reporting solutions (scripts, dashboards, operational analytics) to drive compliance, reduce manual effort, and improve service experience.
- Design, build, and support API integrations, leveraging strong API knowledge to enable data ingestion, system interoperability, and analytics workflows across enterprise platforms.
- Work with vendor/engineering partners to troubleshoot issues and continuously improve tooling and analytics-driven remediation.
- Ensure solutions follow governance requirements (security, compliance, documentation standards), and support globally distributed agile delivery.
Required Skills
Core Analytics Engineering & Automation (Must-Have)
- Strong proficiency in Python for analytics engineering, data preparation, and insights generation.
- Strong hands-on PowerShell experience for automation, endpoint scripting, and operational reporting use cases.
- Ability to structure data for consistency, compatibility, and efficiency; support data quality and accuracy improvements through systematic approaches.
- Proficiency with relational databases and SQL and ability to prepare data/feature pipelines using enterprise tooling (e.g., SQL + big data/engineering ecosystems referenced in the template).
- Experience with reporting and dashboarding (e.g., Power BI) to communicate insights to technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
- Knowledge of working in cloud-computing environment like Azure or AWS or Google Cloud. Azure preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science (or related) with relevant experience in analytics engineering / data analytics / automation roles.
- 6+ years of overall IT experience, with 3+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics, analytics engineering, or applied analytics roles.
- Experience working with endpoint environments and enterprise operational processes/tools (e.g., ticketing + documentation expectations).
Basic understanding of below Technologies is desirable
- Nexthink exposure/experience is a strong advantage for endpoint analytics and digital experience insights.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure preferred) and related services used for analytics workloads.
- Working knowledge of Agile ways of working in globally distributed teams.

Shift Timing: 2 PM – 11 PM
