Assistant Manager -IT Asset Management

Primary role of this job is to handle entire IT Asset life cycle from Procurement till disposal.

Role Specific Responsibilities
* Oversee the acquisition, deployment, and decommissioning of hardware assets (servers, Storage, networking equipment, etc.).
* Manage the entire lifecycle of hardware assets from planning and procurement through to disposal.
* Ensure that hardware assets are efficiently utilized and maintained to extend their useful life.
* Develop and implement strategies for hardware asset management that align with the organization's overall IT strategy and business goals.
* Design and refine processes to improve the efficiency of hardware asset management.
* Ensure that these policies comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
* Manage budgets and control costs associated with hardware assets, including procurement, maintenance, and disposal.
* Develop and implement asset management policies, procedures, and standards.
* Ensure accuracy of asset inventory through audits and regular updates
* Generate reports on asset status, utilization, and compliance for management review.
* Implement automation and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy in asset tracking and reporting.
* Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory and IT Stores.
* Ensure efficient utilization and disposal of physical assets.
* Develop lifecycle management plans for hardware assets.
* Ability to manage vendor relationships and other dependent teams.
* Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
* Assist with audits and ensuring compliance all IT Asset tracks.
* Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing IT Assets, such as hardware (All Network, Wintel, and Telecom Assets) within Organization.

• Proficiency in IT Asset Management tools (ServiceNow).
