Work you’ll do
The FPA (Financial Planning & Analysis) Associate supports the finance team in collecting, organizing, and analyzing financial data to assist with reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. This entry-level role collaborates with senior team members to ensure financial processes are accurate, timely, and aligned with organizational goals. The FPA Associate maintains reports, prepares basic presentations, manages data using Microsoft Office tools, and helps communicate financial insights to business partners.
Responsibilities
• Assist in preparing financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
• Gather and enter data into standard templates for analysis.
• Perform variance analysis and identify basic trends in financial data under supervision.
• Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities.
• Prepare and maintain simple Excel files and PowerPoint summaries as directed.
• Help reconcile financial information by cross-referencing multiple sources.
• Respond to routine queries from finance team members regarding numbers and reports.
• Maintain accurate documentation and filing of financial records.
Required Technical Skills:
• 1 to 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools:
• Excel: Data entry, formatting, basic formulas.
• Word: Documentation, report creation.
• PowerPoint: Preparing slides with guidance.
• Outlook: Managing work emails and scheduling.
• Basic understanding of finance concepts (such as budgeting, reporting, or reconciliations).
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn new systems or processes.
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline (preferred but not strictly required).
Experience:
• 1 to 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, financial planning, or a related role.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) for data entry, reporting, and basic analysis.
• Exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, or forecasting processes is preferred but not mandatory.
• Prior experience supporting team-based financial projects or regular finance operations is an advantage.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timing: Shift between 2.00PM to 11.00 PM IST
