Deloitte US-India Communications – Internal Communications Assistant Manager

The work you will do
· Serve as a strategic communications partner to business leaders, SMEs, and stakeholders around elevating awareness of Deloitte’s offerings and services throughout the networks
· Participate in planning sessions for marketing campaigns to inform internal comms approach and advise strategic marketers accordingly
· Liaise with communications professionals to identify target internal Deloitte audiences, key messages, calls to action and align on content to be shared with practitioners
· Develop communications cascade materials including newsletter copy, leader emails/messages, talking points for practice meetings, copy for intranet pages, etc.
· Liaise with Platforms & Channels team to coordinate publishing of messages on key platforms, gather metrics and report on insights and performance results.
· Manage email communication distribution lists, including adding and removing practitioners from lists as needed
· Report on success of internal communications to leadership, leveraging approved reporting tools (e.g. Poppulo) and measurement teams.
· Maintain editorial calendar across internal communications team
· Experiment with innovative tools, in collaboration with the Comms COE, and apply them to internal communications use cases (e.g. AI tools)
Qualifications required
· Graduate or postgraduate degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, English, or a related field.
· 6–8 years of experience in a communications function, with at least three years in a large-scale or global organization.
· Proven success in developing and executing internal communications strategies/plans for a large business, preferably in professional services
· Solid organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage expectations across multiple complex projects/priorities
· Strong executive presence and comfort working with and advising senior management
· Analytical mindset, with ability to interpret data into meaningful insights and strategies
· Detail-oriented with fantastic follow-through skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills—including effective storytelling and presentation skills
· Ability to work in a matrixed organization with a cross-functional, virtual team; experience in large corporate settings and/or professional services a plus
· Flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while possessing a high level of comfort with ambiguity
· Proficient in MS Office suite—including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and One Drive; knowledge of the latest internal communications measurement platforms a plus

Work timings: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 11 p.m. (IST)
