Manager – U.S. India Alumni Relations
Position Summary

In this role, you will help strengthen alumni engagement, scale campaign management, and drive insights that inform decision-making and measurable outcomes.
Work you’ll do
Translate ideas into insights:
- Support alumni strengthening initiatives aligned to the alumni engagement and development strategy in partnership with U.S. stakeholders.
- Lead stakeholder and cross-functional focus group discussions, identify needs, and guide teams to become more insight-driven; propose value-added work for U.S.-India delivery.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on CRM and alumni databases; drive large automation projects and process enhancements to improve operational excellence and decision-making with limited guidance.
Campaign management:
- Help manage the alumni contact database and support execution of the global alumni strategy across India and the U.S.
- Partner with business leaders and internal clients to define campaign objectives, develop key performance indicators, and support planning and execution of marketing and recruitment campaigns.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns (events, webinars, newsletters, thought leadership) to strengthen alumni engagement.
- Contribute to the expansion of campaign support services, including talent recruitment campaigns and event organization.
Data quality, reporting, and analysis:
- Participate in data enrichment projects; identify data gaps and recommend efficiency improvements.
- Support the introduction and improvement of reporting processes that enable business decision-making.
- Provide quantitative and qualitative analyses of campaign and event data to generate insights.
- Collaborate with adjacent teams to identify data-driven features and insights that advance alumni engagement.
Stakeholder management:
- Participate in regular calls with U.S. leadership; provide input and recommendations that support alumni strategic goals.
- Work with U.S. and U.S.-India internal clients to embed analytics into marketing and alumni lifecycle activities.
- Synthesize and visualize alumni data; convey insights through clear presentations and reports.
Develop people and self:
- Contribute to team development by sharing knowledge and supporting onboarding of new team members.
- Seek feedback and learning opportunities to drive personal growth and performance.
- Demonstrate adaptability and problem-solving; build a strong team reputation.
- Provide guidance and informal mentorship to peers; assist in identifying training needs and delivering sessions.
- Share technical and domain knowledge regularly with the team.
The team
U.S. India, Growth & Purpose drive the marketing programs, initiatives, and priority client-facing programs in the U.S. regions. India G&P is focused on quality and operational excellence and is constantly challenging and refining its business model to ensure proper support of marketing processes, services, and deliverables in the United States. Mission of G&P is to support, augment, and complement marketing efforts of Deloitte through the development of marketing and business development materials and services.
Shift Timings: 2 PM to 11 PM.
Location: Hyderabad
Qualifications
Required:
- MBA or equivalent degree.
- 11+ years of professional experience in campaign management, data management and reporting, or customer relationship management (CRM) databases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
- Experience leading stakeholder discussions and cross-functional projects.
- Experience implementing CRM process improvements, automation, or data pipelines.
- Ability to travel 0%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
Preferred:
- Experience with Microsoft SQL, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), Salesforce, and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Experience in alumni relations programs or alumni database management.
- Experience coordinating or leading multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Experience managing or mentoring team members.
