Professional Services Category Management Team:
- Manages intake, workflow, and approvals for sourcing requests
- Oversees contract drafting and compliance
- Handles exceptions and escalations
- Maintains reporting, data integrity, and provider scorecards
- Supports ongoing process improvement and stakeholder needs
- Advises on vendor sourcing strategy and engagement models
Responsibilities:
Business advisory, contracting, and exception management (40% of time)
- Advise business stakeholders on sourcing approach, preferred vendors, and engagement models for professional services.
- Guide contract drafting and review (SOWs, PSAs), ensuring compliance with policy and quality standards.
- Address margin, scope, and workflow exceptions; escalate complex issues as needed.
Intake, workflow management, and process execution (35% of time)
- Coordinate intake of new sourcing or contracting requests; validate submissions and monitor progress through ServiceNow.
- Track requests to completion, maintain workflow status, and ensure milestones are met.
- Collaborate with OGC, Finance, and other enabling teams to secure required approvals.
Reporting, data integrity, and vendor performance (20% of time)
- Maintain sourcing engagement data across core systems (ServiceNow, Icertis).
- Support dashboarding and exception tracking; ensure accuracy of data for reporting and compliance.
- Collect vendor performance feedback post-engagement and contribute to supplier scorecard development.
Team support and process improvement (5% of time)
- Provide knowledge sharing and onboarding support for junior team members.
- Contribute to the development and updating of tools, templates, and team best practices.

The team provides a wide array of services to the U.S and India professionals, and is continually evaluating and expanding its portfolio.
Requisite core skills
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s degree preferred
Years of Experience: 8-10 years of experience
Skills:
- Understanding of professional services category, ideally with a ‘Big 4’ firm
- Strong knowledge of standard category management processes
- Strategic sourcing execution experience
- Strong negotiation and negotiation strategy development skills
- Persuasive and convincing communication and presentation skills
- Project management experience
- Ability to engage senior executives to influence decisions
- Analytical interpretation and design skills
- Strong data and analytics execution skills (e.g., complex TCO modeling)
- Strong interpersonal skills to drive coordination between legal and business stakeholders for contract completion
